I really enjoy watching you ride. You are a very nice rider and I love seeing the times you're not 100% about what you're doing because we all have those moments. I love that you feel it's important for your horses to do things other than dressage and be able to be horses.
Such an important topic! I, as a show jumper, can't possibly understand why dressage riders doesn't use poles more often. It is such a great supplement to the daily work. I did such a useful exercise yesterday, where I had a square made out of poles. I rode in extended trot/canter outside the square, and collected trot/canter inside the square (poor explanation, but I posted a video of it at my channel if you are interested. It is the one called "Fistho 15.12.18 // Bakkearbeid"). It did not even require actually going over poles, just inside or outside of them, and it was a great exercise for me and my horse.
Olivia u always make my day because even went u r down u try to make the most of it. I am in 1st year of secondary schools and I ride horses ones a week. Thank u for making my day

Curious about your choice of wearing spurs schooling the young ones ? I thought (and I ) used them when aids needed to be super specific at more advanced levels and very light. With green horses shouldn't leg pressure be enough as long as you are consistent with application so your use of spurs as they advance just reinforces what they have been taught ... canter leads etc? Thoughts ??
Ahhhh I can’t wait to start riding again 🥺 love your vlogs. Could you give me an email to contact to you in regards to fence sitting at your Perth clinics? I’ve tried to contact you a couple times but haven’t heard back x
Hi Olivia I was wondering how the off the track grey of your uncles? I think I was... how he is going and what kind of work you do with him for it’s re education Just curious 😊
Your mother talking about horses feeling claustrophobic was very interesting. Would love to have videos featuring your mother giving horse training advice. Cake is one of my favourite things. I think it's the association with celebration and happiness. There's a free android app called Fitmath. It can help you decide how many calories and so forth that you need.
It really is about leaving them alone when young horses get nervous or try it on. If you can just keep a relaxed contact and carry on, they soon realise all their nonsense is futile. Ride enough testing horses, we either figure it out or lose our nerve.
I’m only at the start of this video but it’s stressing me out so much that your fridge was left open the whole time that you made your porridge 😫 ours beeps annoyingly at us so I’m a weirdo with that

Hi, you may also benefit from joining The British show jumper group on facebook. We share exercises and meal ideas for riders who aren't sure what the best thing to eat/what the right exercises to do are.
Cannot wait to reveal the secret :D BTW please, PLEASE, stop looking in the mirror while you making dead lifts, my spine hurts just from watching that ;)
