Visit to the disused Polebrook Airfield, we met up with Gary Brooks from Manchester who piloted the model B-17 a scale model of the aircraft where the 351st bombardment group were stationed here from 1943 to 1945 including the actor Clark Gable his first mission was on 4th May 1943.
Many thanks to Graham Butlin who flew his drone for some aerial shots. We had a great afternoon out on Polebrook Airfield and have other plans for a flight with model aircraft at another WW2 disused airfield in the future.
