Great comparison! I have the mini and the nano but not the large size. I love the mini but if I didn’t have it already, I would have purchased the new convertible one. I think it’s more versatile and the chain strap on the classic mini can be uncomfortable when I’m wearing something thin or sleeveless. I think they really listened to the customers when designing the new bags.

Lux and Wine I love the new convertible one. And that’s good to know re: the strap on the mini. I was hesitant to get that size after Minnie (Minks4all) mentioned it on her review.

Bargain.hunting.blonde Yes! It was the number one question and conversation in the comments on both my Polene videos that mentioned that bag. But it’s still my favorite look because of the gold accents. I wish they would do the gold clasp on some of the other bags.

Great video. Thank you. And I wondered if you'd seen Polene's new bags? They have one that converts to a backpack, as well as two sizes of a bucket type bag (looks a little like LV's Noe bag). I'm considering the mini version at some point.

Ok now I am totally torn... I was thinking about getting the Loewe Puzzle Medium in the tan (preloved due to $$$), but then discovered this bag in this beautiful camel color. I know you have both, which do you like better? I'm looking for an everyday bag...

Personally the leather on the Loewe is much nicer. But that being said the price difference is great so you could get quiet a couple polene bags for one preloved Loewe bag. I don’t use either everyday so I am not exactly sure how they would both hold up but the puzzle leather is softer and would definitely sag more.

I am not sure actually. If I did they would be on my Instagram! If not I will try to take some photos this weekend with at least one of the bags so you can see sizing. The nano is much much smaller than the regular numero un.

Yes I do! For the price point it’s a great small bag and I love the color. I also love the mini but I worry about the chain digging in so I haven’t purchased it yet. Though now that they have the backpack which can basically be the mini with a leather strap I am tempted 🙈

This is the camel color in the smooth leather! I just checked my receipt. Also for the other textured tan on I don’t know the actual color as I have never seen that bag in person. I would try looking for real life photos on Instagram. Thank you for watching 😊

Thank you for this video - I have seen this brand before, but never knew the name. I'm thinking about buying a nano one. Do you think I should get pebble or smooth leather? Which one is "easier" and more forgivable?

They unfortunately only make the nano in the textured leather or the smooth leather and not the pebbles leather (though I have suspicions the new tri colored nano might have pebbled leather). The more forgivable of the smooth and textured is definitely the textured. The textured will hide scratches better. I hope that helps 😊

Is the textured leather on the nano different from the larger one that is pebbled? How is the smooth leather holding up? I don’t like saffiano leather either but i love pebbled leather. I have been thinking of the mini backpack though. I think it is pebbled. TFS

Yes! The texture is different. The large bag is pebbled leather while the nano is either a smooth (what I have) or a textured (basically saffiano). I have not seen the nano in a pebbled leather sadly because I would love that!

Yes it is! Both bags are technically the camel but the bigger numero un is tricolor in the camel color.

I don’t like top handles - wish they had this in a tote you can wear on the shoulder. I like my hands free.

You’re the reason I purchased both of mine! Love them, except my nano’s strap squeaks so that’s very annoying. Anyone heard of this before and does it go away?!

Holly Gillette I have had that happen with my Chanel jumbo chains! Normally after more wear it stops. You could also try a leather conditioner on the strap to make the leather more supple which would probably stop the squeak as well

I have never found either bag heavy (as neither are leather lined) but I think a big factor of that is how much you put in each bag. I don’t carry a lot around with me and that helps. Plus the nano is much smaller than the regular size so it’s much lighter.

I don’t find it to feel luxurious enough for the price tag. Plus I find even Prada’s (who is well known for their saffiano) leather to wear very badly.

Hi! Will the Polene nano fit a standard water bottle?

So if your water bottle is standard size that’s 20.32 cm and the bag length is 22cm. I have not tried as I don’t buy plastic water bottles and only have bigger reusable ones. My size reusable one does not fit. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful

Is the smooth leather prone to getting scratches easily?

In generally smooth leather is more prone to scratches but this is not a smooth leather like a box leather it’s more of a smooth leather like on a shoe. So I have been lucky with no scratches atm but I also have a big collection and don’t use it every day.

Sometimes i find it hard to match though because I'm more of a neutral girl. I love camel and tan but i already have a few bags in those colours
