My mother who is elderly and vulnerable was issued a parking ticket by south wales parking group for a parking contravention (no evidence supplied). She was not the driver at the time of the alleged contravention so appealed the ticket through SWPG online internal appeals process and supplied the full details of the driver including name and address and telephone number. This was subsequently acknowledged in writing by south wales parking group but they then still continued to pursue the registered keeper (my mother) for the alleged debt but still refused go provide any evidence of the alleged contravention. A year and a half later and andrew james enforcement turn up demanding nearly 700 hundred pounds from her or they would lift the car and sell it at auction. Police then assist in helping them with that action despite no actual warrant as there was no chance to defend the claim which is the right of every individual in this country. Neither bailiff would show certification or any evidence and so all this was done without any evidence and without and right or chance to defend the claim so it seems local councils are now judge and jury and if they decide your guilty then you are and the police will back them up to enforce it. Court proceedings against Blake Carter ( bailiff who put clamp on car) andrew james enforcement have commenced to claim back the money to release the car and punitive damages.
