That police dog was incredible - the speed and precision - plus big respect for the bravery to the guy trying to stop him taking the car. Big respect to the police dog.
The takedown by this dog was something out of a Matrix movie, just incredible! But what most people don't know is that it cost the dog his career and was retired after this incident. He lost some teeth in the process. I was heart broken to find this out. I salute this dog for keeping us safe.
I dont think the dog was too bothered about his CAREER!!!! hahahahaha!! retired is better than being forced to work.. hahahahahaha that is extremely funny.
the dog lost several teeth, i think this situation was not really funny: www.nbclosangeles.com/news/puskas-police-dog-suspect-sentenced-pursuit-broken-teeth/156363/
I tip my hat to the random civilian who helped the woman. Going into a random situation not knowing who your dealing with or what they are capable of. Well done sir. I would have given the dog a few more minutes with that A**hat
Yes its a good point to lock your doors, as i do, but she didnt know it was going to happen, she probably had other shit to deal with that she didnt think to lock her door, shit like is a coincidence
Been teaching my daughter how to drive. 1st day she looks at me and says, “it’s just like GTA” I looked at her and it’s been a month since she was behind the wheel.
The dog in the video actually knocked 8 of his teeth out when he tackled the man, so he was hurt and bleeding badly but the dog made a full recovery , you can look it up
@@matthewrass7231 No the title of the video is referring to the game GTA because you can use context clues. "GTA or real life". It only makes sense if GTA in this case means the game, not stealing a car.
@@jayy_lalive2343 This. He coulda died for a car that insurance would cover Not worth it. Just give them the car and report it stolen. Fighting back an aggressor is just stupid if they're not actively seeking to harm you. That said, he is a good person and the world does need more like him. But pick your battles guys.
Here in TX (And more so now after 9/01/2021) the guy helping (and most likely the woman) would be packing. bang bang he is not taking that car...oops he moved bang bang bang (cannot take a chance he may have a knife in his pants legs that he may be going for)
@@Xeno455 That is the problem...Too many wimps and the bad guys know it and take advantage of it. The more people give the more others will take. And the deductible could be up to $1000.00..everyone has that to throw away. Who to know that the car was not paid for and did not have theft insurance on it
Damn! That cop gave him about 5 straight lefts when the dog got him on the ground! But I think that cop was already having a bad day, and just needed to blow off a little steam!😂

“Don’t run” is the usual advice given if you are unfortunate enough to have a dog attack you. Too freaking right😂😂😂. Man that dog flew like a bat out of hell.
Criminal be like: "I'm so fast I can outrun police". K9 be like: "Release me I'm going to FINISH HIM, criminal can't outrun me". 4 legs are usually faster than 2 legs. That jump when the K9 bit the criminal was amazing. Watching this video at 2x speed is cool. Honestly to me it seems like when criminals run, it's as if they activate "Usain Bolt" mode, which is irrelevant when a K9 does some nom nom.
Yup, I race my rottweiler every now and then and I give myself like 30m headstart but he still wins. Considering I'm one of the fastest people in my city it just amazes me every time. For a guy who has been used to blazing passed people their whole lives it's a very humbling experience 😂
@@redlion3569 No, I'm willing to bet that rottweilers can do much more than that. My rottweiler is a lean build at only 45kg so exactly 100ibs and I'm pretty sure he can do much than 25. Breeds that are known to do 30 he keeps up with easily and beats them when it comes to chasing a ball😂😂
It’s really interesting to me that people in the US have to lock their doors in the first place! No wonder the rest of the world see Americans as being paranoid and fearful.
same, but this reflex definitly could have cost him his life. just think about what would have happend if the suspect pulled out a pistol or somehow sandwiched him between the cars. But that are situations you are never prepared for, so you cant avoid the risk of doing something stupid.
The speed that the dog closes the distance really shows how much of an asset a well-trained K9 unit is. A situation like this where the guy is just focused on running is optimal.
Even if the dog is well trained, they would have a hard time letting go, causing more damage. Should be seen as police brutality, since the dog can literally kill you if the handler can't catch up in time. You can't fight the dog off because you'll get another charge.
Also the officer had no idea what else to do besides punch him because cops are so poorly trained… the dog literally probably has more training than him
