READ THIS BEFORE COMMENTING ON THE NAME TAG: I am well aware one is blurred and the other isn’t. I wasn’t blurring it for that reason. I was trying to put Daniels name over that area as part of the joke but couldn’t figure it out. I just left the mask there cause I had already wasted enough time. No need to tell me.
Hi from Germany, You just got a new subscriber with me and I love your stuff you show here in RU-vid! Thank you so much for your help with the Patty Mayo thing, because I was really in doubt about him and his thing here and you gave me the answer about him and his videos here! Thank you so much for it! I love all the gorgeous and wonderful people who are working in law enforcement and corrections and I find them so fascinating, great and amazing 💖👍💖👍💖👍💖👍💖👍, lovely greetings from Sarah and have a great day today and stay safe out there and take care of you all the time and enjoy your day 💖🙋💖🙋💖🙋💖🙋💖🙋
I appreciate the video. I do have a question. Do you have issues with the nameplate and/or badges/citations flopping down when wearing your uniform? If so, do you have any recommendations on how to prevent that? Thanks!
I personally never have but you can cut a small piece of cardboard and put it on the inside as a backer. It will make the area more rigid and it won’t flop.
I’ve been retired 21 years, recently discovered your channel and have been enjoying how things have changed since my time. I started in 1968 and retired 30 years later. The amount of gear you carry daily is amazing but has to be very cumbersome. I started w/a revolver, twelve extra rounds, cuffs and a baton. The portable belt size radio came later along w/the auto loading pistols. It appears that the day to day job of a patrol officer has not changed much and likely never will. Stay safe and keep up the good work.
When I was working as an LEO, I found that it was better slitting your uniform shirt at the seam; and then connect the cord to the radio. Worked well, and you don't have the cord hanging over the epaulette of your shirt.
I have said it before and I ll say it again. You are a an officer that makes the profession look good man. It's good to know there are cops like you in the street.
The short sleeve shirt is smart. Didn't know a strap was used to attach to your socks. No wonder no creases, but good effect. And the zipper function...cleverly hidden. All in all, very smart.
Great channel. I love your overall approach to, and demeanor on, the service calls you've shown. Please, keep up the great work and the videos! Stay safe.
Mikey thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you for doing this for us, especially me, i just got my uniform i don't start my first shift till Tuesday and i been wondering how do you set up your uniform the way you like it you are a life-saver, keep up the great work, bro, stay safe, and hopefully i'll get the chance to bump into you while in FL next month between Christmas & New Year's
That slit in the shoulder is a great idea. Currently my earpiece jack is fed under and out the top button, under the shoulder of my external vest, then to the mic which is clipped to the vest, keeping it almost all hidden. I have my earpiece clipped to the collar of my undershirt.
I’m retired from a NY metropolitan area job now but when I was working we wore class A dark blue shirts and trousers with a clip-on medium blue tie for the long sleeve shirts. Of those shirts/pants, we had summer and winter wear, all with clip-on brass buttons held in place by small cotter pins. In colder weather, we wore class A blouses (jackets) and winter jackets of nylon. For a short time, we were issued black leather jackets which were very good for protection from knives, but they were discontinued due to civilians calling them ‘Nazi’ uniforms. The suspenders you showed are really cool and I would have welcomed them to keep my shirts from looking sloppy. We also wore uniform caps with brass cap devices, but they seem to have gone the way of the dodo birds. Good video.
I love this video. I love the background too. You got great quotes in the background, "Believe in yourself always and Dream it, Wish It, and Do It." You got some nice quotes and should be follows. As for uniform, while working armed security. My Captain let us wear Class A uniform if we are not working where we do not need to be hands on and if we do work area that, we uses BDU uniform. I like the uniform, however, I think you should get some new button shirt.
I only made one change to mine and added a small one inch and half wide by 3/4 inch tall piece of card stock behind my name tag and military service bars. And I have that very same shirt for my uniform and I love it .
Nothing but positivity from me :) And those decals are really sick too. Hope I win one of them, and congrats to the winners of the patches. Much love man.
It's almost creepy dressing Mike the cop. I love it, it was funny to see. I'll be watching more. I'm into my 2nd week of academy and I'm looking forward to more videos. Thanks for what you do.
Same like in my country, officer here have 3 uniform with differents type 1. PDU (Pakaian Dinas Upacara or ceremonial uniform duty) for a formal ceremonial 2. PDH (Pakaian Dinas Harian or daily uniform duty) for daily patrol 3. PDL (Pakaian Dinas Lapangan or field uniform duty) for special duty in field It's no different in uniform and I hope can wear it someday
Shirt stays. I'm very well acquainted with them. I used them for my Marine Corps service uniforms, I have also had them pop and hit me in the crotch, not fun. That's why I prefer the once that go around your foot, instead of the clip ones.
where i live in western canada, some cops wear B shirts with A pants, or vice versa. every cop i've personally come in contact with have always had the extra pockets!
You are awesome 👌. It's good to see good officers doing good things. Too many get a bad rap. We need to see more good officers 👏 🙏. Keep doing what you do.
We only have class a and class b. Our class a is our standard blauer dress uniform that we wear everyday. Our class b is more of a tactical dress sometimes with a tac vest.
Hi MikeyMo Vlogs May You have a Pleasant week/weekend! Awesome Police Uniform and the Police officers! Could Please do Police Patches and what There for? Thank You Sir ☺
Hey Mikey! Great content as always, love your videos! Was kinda curious about something and wanted to ask you, now that it’s that time of the year when a lot of the snowbirds (and a lot of people from other states) like to come to Florida, what are the most common traffic infractions that you see out-of-State drivers do?? Is it just pretty much the same things in-state drivers would do? And what out-of-state plates do you tend to see the most? Any that tend to be the most problematic??
Nothing that sticks out, it all kinda just runs together. Most of the visitors are in rental cars so it’s hard to tell. The true snow birds usually have a car they leave here so it’ll have FL plates.
Say Mike, good job anything for a Trooper, I've got some extra collar brass of the motor cycle and State initials. Have a great day!! And Be Safe (how many times have you heard that)?
I wanna be a cop when im older then if i ever do become one imma come back to this find my commet and edit this saying (i made it) find out in 5 years!
That ear piece trick is awesome I’m going to try that out. At my department which is a department of 21 officers we have class As and class Bs. Our class As are like your class B but we have metal buttons and wear our name tags on the same side as our badge. We can wear whistle chains if we want but we run them through our shirt pocket on the right side with our academy pins and other awards. Our Class Bs are embroidered with gray and white patches instead of the full color patch. Cool video thanks for posting.
MikeyMo Sir, You have changed my whole perception about cop job through this channel. I am ur fan from the start of this channel. Ur Awesome. Getting positive vibes only. You have stepped up your editing skills man. Ur Microphone sounded different when you explaining about the topic and at the end, two different mic gigs ? Support from OHIO. Wanna video on those certificates behind you if possible. Which once and when you got it ? Just asking, curious. great looking Officer Daniels. Subbed u on yt.
awesome video mike, from my experience in the army I know the pain it is with all the shiny stuff that goes with a class A and a Class B uniform, hell even our work uniforms the patches had to be straight and on a certainty way. now with the Class C or your work uniform do u have to wear the basic BDU or can u op for like something from 511 or LAPG. Black hawk has some great uniform pants that I wear with my Class B shirt for the security company I'm working for.
Ironic this video was recommended right after I commented asking about the fake buttons lol. What do ya know. Also don't feel bad about thumbs down, the person may not like the topic or etc, doubtful it's you personally. Or the fact that you're a cop, and not at all your personality. Anyways, the negative people make me laugh. Shows more about their character than anyone elses!
So some sheriffs offices do wear the long sleeve Class A uniform for the “winter” months here in FL. They used to at least. I think they may have lightened up on that policy though. Not positive so don’t hold me to it.
Nice!!! I am trying to collect as many patches as I can, but I am 17 years old. I really want to be a police officer, like you! Patch me up whenever the next contest is!! #PatchMeUp
I'm a Policeman from Papua New guinea and I always have mad love over the uniforms from how it's designed. I would like to know if it's possible for you to send me the samples from both uniform B and C.
Just pointing something out, On the class C uniform you had the name blurred, but on the class B name tag it was not. Not sure if you intended for it to not be blurred or if it was a error. Great video!
Great video! I would love to know about wearing prescription glasses while in the academy or on duty, is it allowed or can you only wear contacts? Thx🖤💙🖤
I had a dumb question that I would like to ask you or anyone else in law Enforcement, if you are leading a pursuit and another cop joins the pursuit do you ditch or keep leading? Does it depend or? Thanks in advance
You’d stay lead unless there was some reason you couldn’t. Like for example you can’t be the lead car if you’re in an unmarked cruiser. You could start the pursuit but as soon as a marked unit got there you’d have to give it up to them. Besides that there shouldn’t be many reasons why you’d give up the lead.
