Everyone on here is delusional. Police noticed a registration violation and signaled him to stop. He refused to stop and drove a mile and half to a gas station and takes his time to set up his camera with a smug look on his face while casually asking what is happening so that he can be the next martyr. Officers immediately come out the vehicle weapons drawn because it's suspicious that they signaled him to stop and he kept driving for almost 2 miles. Also keep in mind, it's night time and he has tinted windows so the officers can't see he's black from the initial signalling to stop till when they pull up at the gas station and immediately come out their car. They tell him to come out the car and dude still refuses time without number... You'd think as someone in the military he'd understand compliance and obeying a lawful command. Before the officers pepper sprayed him, they gave every opportunity and tried to even open his door and he held on to his door and kept it lock. Even when they got him out the car, he was still resisting to get down on the ground and put his hand behind his back. Dude acted like a big baby and now gets glorified for acting a victim.

During that entire stop he also did not turn off the car. Once he had his hands out the window the cops asked him to step out of the car multiple times and he refused.

They had no probable cause, they wouldn't even tell him what he was stopped for. It can't be excused and the officer should at least face assault for that because he had no right to even touch that man when he was being stopped for a misdemeanor and he had no right to pepper spray someone that had their hands in the air asking why they were being stopped, saying they were scared and more. No he did not. He should have pulled over right away and this would have been a simple warning and thank you for your service. The officers tactics were horrible, but this was a perfect example of things being worse because he did not follow instructions and refused to get out of the vehicle.

They've cut out so much context in this video

2 miles is about standard to find an exit on most highways and find a spot that's public and well lit. Not claiming one way or the other on this particular case, but even as a cop I'd be happier in that situation as opposed to a dark as shit situation on the side of the road.
