Usually this stuff is a fail in *information* (what to do not provided) *instruction* (all and when to) *Training* (all and how to) And big fail *Supervision* (not making sure the above was done to standard)
The more I watch these type of videos on RU-vid, the more transparent it is just how unprofessional these individuals are. Two different days, and two different coppers who couldn't be arsed to check their vehicle properly.
Simply not good enough how they just say " yeah yeah " when you point out they should inform you of filming at first possibly opportunity . Don't let them off the hook so easily Reggie ! .
Is right reggie mate a couple of years ago I got stopped by police for having a break light bulb out luckily I work for a mechanic and had spare bulbs in car what was funny they had light bulb out only had 1 light and side light working when I pointed that out they were not happy 1 rule for them another 1 for us love your channel mate
I take my hat of to you Sir. Our freedoms were fought for, not granted. I'm sure you agree that what you do is nothing compared to what our ancestors did to secure freedom, but its a great example of why we need to continually fight for it
"Wham... bam... Reggie hunts the van... Bulb or no bulb, you can tell they don't give a jot.." Class stuff Reggie haha. Keep hunting it, until they get the light fixed haha. Peace and love man!
Hey Reggie, "You Light Up My Life" as the song goes! Well spotted with the Police van and why not! They were petty minded enough to pull you over so why not them! Once again one rule for them one for us YES "Your Nicked!" - Stay Safe Reggie, and "PUT THAT LIGHT OUT!" just like ARP Warden Hodges in "Dad's Army!" lol - PINAC!
@Anglian Audit maybe it's changed I used to be MOT'R years ago if the bulb holder is there (meaning it has two), then it needs to be illuminated. It may have changed since.
Magic1968 is correct. The RTA says that the registration plate must be illuminated. If it has one working bulb then no offence is committed and no reason for the police to take action. However, for the MOT all fitted lamps must be working.
Priceless. I’m going to call you Reggie Columbo from now on. What a great piece of detective work. Exposing the “ Laws for thee, but not for me “ attitude of the British police. The cheeseburger I ate for lunch had more integrity and a higher IQ than the average police cunstable.
Ask them something and they pretend to be listening to their intercom, as per training school, its a shame really, but it leads to a good early pension.
When I was working for various companies they pretty much had the same vehicle policy. DAILY CHECKS were for offences that could incur an endorsement ie tyres, brakes, windscreen wash, wipers . WEEKLY CHECKS were lights, battery, oil, water etc.
Stellar work as usual Reggie. Keeping the tyrants accountable. The damaged police van could quite easily of caused a terrible accident. You probably saved someone's life there Reggie. Hero
@Reggie Photo Always Reggie. Have you recovered from the terrible way you were abused by the police. Tower and council of your visit to the hole that is known as Blackpool.
When I worked for the Liverpool Corpy the Transport Manager instilled into the van drivers check all ya lights ,brakes , oil + water before moving out the depot and on return .Notice ,when you pulled them at the gate..no panic on their part tho?, 1 law for us..comes to mind...Great vid REGGIE get in there!!
Great Video and content. Only minor stuff but highlights the sheer arrogance of the Police and that invincibility they hold themselves in. The Constables in the evening must of laughed it off no doubt laugh at you Reggie. The sad state of the Police is shocking.
Great Reggie, police under scrutiny,,that's what's needed, one law for them,& one law for us, bout time this changed. I was stopped by two chinese police officers last year ,as i had a bulb out, i blamed my loose boxers, still i got the police officers names, One hung low & Yu Tu Long.
The ruling power elite are hypocrites ,the police is just an extension of them ,I feel sorry for these yes men and women . Reggie the legend in action hahaha ,love it 🤝
Reggie, the words dog and bone came to mind while I was watching this😂 What I don’t understand is why at 10:34 he came back and said both bulbs were working yet at 15:38, presumably the next day, it was still out??? Am I smelling a 🐀?
I've got a brand new car now but up until now I've always carried a selection of bulbs in the boot so I can replace a faulty one on the spot. The problem I had was that to replace one headlight bulb, I had to remove the battery and the other, the whole air filter box.
Alright pal cracking video great to see you on home soil gonna be looking out for this van with my camera you should have done a citizens arrest , compounded there van and give the officers 10years hard labour😅 that will teach the fuckers😂
Your commitment in proving a point is very impressive sir and should be commended.. Keep it up. Next time, measure the length of the van with your stick when they want to leave. 😂
I saw a police van with a headlight out, and it passed me a couple of times that evening, and one time it stopped , and they went into a shop , I could not resist , so I followed them in and in my best police speak imitation I asked them if they were aware that they were driving at night with defective lights. To be fair, they took it well and played along reacting like a contrite motorist would being ticked off by the police . ( No idea if they got it fixed though)
NEVER let the police get away with their hypocrisy. Brave up and put them in their place. Their place is to serve and protect the public, not being hypocritical tyrants.
Yeah great idea reggie ! Only problem is to replace a light bulb in my car, I have to take the front bumper off ! Not practical on a fast main road. And one rule for them, and another one for us.
I'm sure their Fleet/Transport Manager will have something to say. Their attitude to equipment care is non-existent and sets no example to the public, whatsoever. Well done Reggie. Thanks for demonstrating how our society's culture and values have gone forever...
Reggie you have got the same personality as me( that's my opinion) love your content, it's hillarius & you have a serious side to you. Keep up the good work Harry
Clearly a matter for professional standards. They all have to sign to say they have completed a vehicle check before they take it out. If they lie about this then they will lie about anything.
A non working number plate bulb is an MOT fail, That Police van is un roadworthy! 😂 Ok a bulb can blow anytime but they were informed about it by Reggie and the van went out the next day without the bulb being replaced, That van should have been checked over at the start of it's next shift for defects and it clearly wasn't.
