He’s clarifying who Daniel is to the person he is speaking to. It happened 8 years before. I think the bigger takeaway from this is how disgustingly the Australian judicial system failed this child. He only had a 7-year prison sentence after already brutally raping a boy and he does it the second time he gets 7 years? And only serves 4?

It’s an Australian way of referring to a bloody creep, which is what this guy is. Grub can also be a slang term for food. ... Derived from it, is the adjective 'grubby' for somebody or something that is dirty and the Australian slang term 'grub' is also for a person who is unclean or who has messy habits. Example: Don't be such a grub. A grub can also be the larvae of a beetle. Hope that answers your question Todd. Rest In Peace Daniel.

They must keep him in jail after 20 years is up. I was shocked that they released him again after the 2nd child he raped. The 2nd child he molested was left with so many injuries, that they thought he had been in a car accident. Each attack was more calculated with less chances of the child surviving, until he killed one by snapping his neck that was Daniel Morcombe. They shouldn't have released him after the 2nd child, Daniel Morcombe would still be alive. I'm glad Brave Hearts put through the law for peadophiles to be inprisoned for life if they offend a 2nd time. Just wish it was in place before he attacked his 2nd victim😢
