The whole booting/towing industry is fishy to the nth degree, and so full of BS. We got booted with a loaner car. It was a nightmare while our vehicle was being repaired and we were unable to drive it back from Alabama. I won't go into it. But I never want to go through that again. When we got back to New Orleans, we promptly got booted. At least the car remained in place but it just went from bad to worse. As far as 'not seeing anything in the car' as the impound lot claimed, I call BS on that. Where did that impound person get their training? A family grieves, and nobody has an answer....
I been a Victim of a “CHP 180” Form Every officer by procedures and practice shall do an inspection before impounding the vehicle. In my situation I requested all discovery and a CHP 180 form was produced with only a signature at the bottom and it wasn’t filled out. TRUTH
