This story is so sad. This guy lost his life celebrating his kids birthday. 2 guys who was his friend was arguing they pointed a gun at each other he was running behind them to break it up & the cops mistake him for the one with the gun

Was he pointing the weapon at anyone when he was being shot at by police? According to the patrol guide, you can not shoot anyone while they're fleeing or if the weapon is not pointed at anyone or raised in a way you believe that he will shoot. Release the body camera. They're being too vague.
