Experiencing Car Culture with Skid Society Car Vlogs; revisiting the automotive art form native to California; Lowriding. This video is the fourth part of a Lowrider Cruise Event and Classic Car Show in Elysian Park in Los Angeles, Southern California, right by Major League Baseball's Dodger Stadium!
This Elysian Park Lowrider Cruise was completely packed with clean rides and lowrider cars; everything from a pristine example of the 1958 Chevrolet Impala to the 1964 Chevy Impala SS Lowrider equipped with hydraulics and chrome engraving. Lady Lowriders were out with their clean rides, and Classic cars were cruising three wheel motion, custom lowrider paint jobs were on display and there were lowrider cars hopping and classic cars cruising, for the LA Times Car Club annual Cinco de Mayo event! Lowrider Super Show quality cars were on display at this Classic Car Show, as the park in LA was completely taken over by Classic Cars and Lowriders, as Lowrider Models posed with some of the finest examples of classic Chevrolets on display in the California sunshine! Cars were hitting switches and lowriders hopping, as Lowrider Cars took over Elysian Park. Police showed up to Shut Down the Lowrider Cruise event, but had to return with over 10 police cars, since there were a lot of lowriders to disperse! Police officers and parking enforcement gave out tickets, which some people thought was unfair. Celebrating Chicano Culture with Lowriders and clean Classic Cars cruising the park in Los Angeles, with Lowrider fans, classic car enthusiasts and custom car owners coming from all over the USA to witness the Lowrider Cars and Classic Cars cruising! 12:00 look at that bumper kit🤤.....uhh uuhmm on the 58 yeah the 58 😁....seriously though this is profiling....I use to get pulled over all the time for my bumper being to low or too high off the ground in my low low then they would pull me over and bust out tape measures to see if my bumpers were to high when I was in my landau chevy donk smh yet guys riding around in hot rods with no hood no bumpers at all and 2 inches off the ground with a 6 inch windshield would never get messed with now I see these monster trucks WITH NO DROPBAR also never getting messed with so it's all biased and profiling....awesome footage man👍🏽✌🏽

I don't know if they had a permit for this event. If they did, it looks like they exceeded their reported capacity and overflowed into the streets. Their overflow created a tremendous traffic backup that affected commuters, residents and businesses around the area. I'm a car nut, but when participants in an event exceed what they sign up for, they get no sympathy from me.
