In this shift, I drive around downtown and spot a few illlegally parked cars which i give tickets to, and call a tow. This is interrupted by an alert from dispatch about a nearby assault in progress, in downtown. I confront the suspect and pursue him as he flees, eventually catching up within taser range and disabling him after discharging the taser. I call an ambulance to take the suspect away, and then move back to the assault victim and call an ambulance for him and stay with him until it arrives. Then I resume the duties of the shift, giving parking tickets until the shift is over.
