That’s just the games mechanic that make it easier to think totaling a car is okay because everything breaks so easily. Especially since that car seemed to be an older model the game might have made those cars more prone to window shattering effects. Even then, as long as no one is hurt and it’s not obstructing traffic, it’s up to the drivers if they want the police involved and it’s GTA, no one wants the police involved to find their crack stash over a broken rear window XD

YGuy1 Maybe this is a regional thing (I'm in the UK) but if insurance and contact details are exchanged (all correct and legal), medical attention is not required and the driver at fault up front admits it, then where's the crime in that? Driving into the back of another car at a junction is quite common. The front car moves forward a bit but stops due to traffic, the car behind sees the car in front move off so looks left/right (depending on country) assuming the car in front had taken the gap in traffic and unaware that the car stopped again. They then either creep forward while looking for traffic approaching and hit the car in front or they think they can take a gap and accelerate into the back of them. It just dawned on me as I was typing all the above. Driving into the back of someone is chargeable as driving without due care and attention. It's the same as someone driving into the back of a queue of traffic, even if no one is hurt and details exchanged, if a police officer witnessed the collision they could charge the driver of the last vehicle/vehicle to initiate the collision with driving without due care and attention. At least here in the UK, if no one is hurt, details exchanged checkout to be valid, etc, then it is just left to the insurance companies to sort things out. The person admitting fault will have to payout through their insurance and live with increased premiums etc as a result. If everyone is OK and the individual responsible owns up to it and is honest about everything from the start they don't tend to get charged (unless a phone, alcohol or drugs is/are involved).

It's not actually a bad thing to call the police on any traffic incident so they can document it with a police report because if not it could hurt you later on in court since it will be your word against another persons where as with a a police report it provides information as to whom was at fault. She's correct about going through the light after passing the intersection as well but if a cop thinks you were doing so just because you were impatient (ie. Let's say your at intersection and it has a left turn stop light and the person in front of you didn't realize the light changed to green and only starts to go as the light changed to yellow and you follow so that you don't have to wait for the light again you.) I'm sure the cops can find something to ticket you with.
