How do the English stand that they have such a police force. What this and these officers say is complete nonsense. It's like the officers live in a kindergarten, and they talk down to a citizen who will have to defend himself and be able to prove his innocence. Even young cops are completely stupid, it's like they surrender their critical sense when they become cops. How can the English endure having such a police, asks a Scandinavian - where we have a tolerant police, well-trained officers who respect the citizens and who behave properly.
The one saving Grace is that our police do NOT carry guns like US officers. Guns put how police treat members of the Public in a totally different realm. US Police are buzzing from the off due to gun carrying citizens and many are impatient and trigger happy in return😞
The British police force have lowered their enrollment IQ to become a police officer so low that anybody can become one, and then they are not trained properly because they are being trained by police of low IQ. So it is a kind of catch twenty-two.
I'm english, lived in New zealand for 10 years and now live in Australia. I haven't interacted with any Australian police yet, but I will say nz cops are leaps and bounds ahead of British cops in their demeanor, the way they speak to you etc.
This Officer has no concept of his policy the law or his job. Then he refused to identify talking over a member of public wide eyed. This Officer needs retraining and another reminder of his oath. Ascertain is his favourite word and trying to incriminate you he is dangerous in my opinion. Then he escalates to the point of he was raising his voice. The female Officer saves the day calming the situation then of he goes again. Please tell me that his inspector or sargeant has had words with him. He could not wait to get hands on he was angry at the point not being obeyed. POOR DO BETTER
"I dont have to tell you when im filming" "Your service policy, home office regulations and the ico all say you have to legally tell me.." "NO THEY DONT" Yet another lying bullying cop at work ladies and gentlemen.... Yet another....
@Kens UK Adventures Doesn't really matter, they're still not under any obligation to inform people about BWV usage although it would be courteous to do so. RU-vid auditors and content providers are not regulated as far as I'm aware so there's no requirement for them to create policies. All a policy really does is set an expectation of employee behaviour that can be evaluated externally if required.
@Kens UK Adventures I was talking specifically about policies here, my apologies if that wasn't clear. Obviously a policy does not override the law and it only binds the employees of whatever organisation writes the policy, my point was that the police ARE bound by their own policies in a way that an auditor is not. As you suggest, GDPR does apply to all parties but that's a separate issue to policies.
@Kens UK Adventures he doesent work for the police, He doesent work for the home office, He doesent come under the information commissioner's office, He's a private individual so gdpr doesent apply to him... So really I'm failing to see your point? Do you really want police officers like this one is to Lie & Break policies & Break the law & Ignore contractual policies? If you do I suggest you move to 1940's Nazi Germany where you'd obviously be much happier My main point was the policeman lied and broke the law. Nobody should support that Im shocked you do.
That copper is a massive plonker, unaware of his professional standards, unaware of his policies, unaware of the law. If they fail to identify properly, ignore them.
Not with police, they treat you like you are guilty first, and the way they use the badly written badly understood laws, they are probably correct, they certainly can't "learn" judging by the many emails and updates they never read
Talking to plod is like playing chess with a pigeon, it knocks all the pieces over, craps on the board then struts around as if they've won. They put on the clown suit and the circus begins. Bring your own balloons.
So because of alleged shouting and swearing ......2 police cars and 3 officers attend. In the meantime robberies , sexual assaults, motor theft, house burglaries, etc all going on un investigated.
@@peterwentworth9181 i tell them that line & i tell them someone breaking the law else where like raping ur wife after they break in who knows cuz there 3 dumb armed cops here for a person with a camera breaking no laws also im allowed to swear in public all i want so fuck this fuck u & fuck ur buddys all u cops are the fucking same around the world fucking bulls make up false charges over nothing also cops are racist KKK white trash..... if u force fake law try me cuz of ur feelings fuck them go home
Looks like UK police force is being Overtaken by small, weak, child like, But we'll groomed females,, of which When the going gets tough they call Big boy backup... As on most American,UK, and Australian Videos this happens often...
Police these days, guy burgled my house, guy with balaclava running around, sorry we are really busy. Guy with camera at amazon yeh we will send a few cars and 4 officers that needs investigation
THE NERDY COP AND THE BEARD WANNA BE COP DO THEY EVER HEAR ABOUT this goes higher up than UK law,,,,, ECHR European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms ECHR) is a European treaty in which the human and civil rights of all residents of the member countries are laid down (article 10). allows filming in the public sector, even people ( include minors and staff )in public and in public buildings and government buildings , everything you can see from public (even if you point into private buildings and sites) you can photo and record it since November 4, 1950. as an example Google Earth (with zoom) google maps, google street view, DRONE LEGISLATION ARISES FROM THIS LAW, cars with a dash cam going by this law
Have you noticed how he kept creeping forward a step at a time trying to intimidate. The sneer on his face with his gang mentality buddies. He's been watching to many American audits.
How is it possible most cops in the UK seem to have no clue that they need to inform you their bodycam is on? That male cop just made a complete idiot of himself.
A problem only arrises if the footage from their camera is used in court. Also you don't need to tell someone they are being recorded if to do so would result in somebody being hurt or a crime committed. It's all very wishy-washy and making such a big thing of it is a waste of time. It's just them trying to cover themselves, no one gets in trouble for not telling someone they are being recorded.
Changed his story about 10 times during this conversation. He’s gone from investigating a suspicious character (not an offence), to finding out the purpose of filming (not an offence), to possible section 5 public order….. which is only arrest-able if someone is repeatedly offending after being cautioned. You haven’t sworn once in this video. This copper needs investigating, if he’s doing this kind of thing when on camera - what is he getting away with off camera? He’ll be going up to people and just making up laws to arrest them.
They don't get it that you don't have to help them with their investigations; you don't have to say a damn thing to them. They CANNOT demand to see any video footage without a warrant.
They can seize the item to obtain the footage under section 19 of PACE, if the footage pertains to an offence. However, they would first have to procure a warrant under section 8 of pace in order to seize the item under section 19 of PACE.
9:00 When police keep needing names they are not following the law. The law exists to control the public AND the police. The law controls how far the police can go to keep the peace. If the law does not specifically allow the police to do something then when they try to do that something they are abusing the law. The law does not allow the police to get people's names except in a few very specific circumstances, such as section 50, driving and after arrest.
Except .......... If you are arrested - you have the right to remain silent. So, if your photo/fingerprints/DNA aren't on their system, they can't get sh1t. That's how stupid police are.
@kensukadventures628 Oh you think Rice v Connolly means you don't have to help the police when they're catching a real criminal. Nothing of the sort. If police are having trouble with a real criminal and you can help then it's a good thing to do. What it means is that you, when being questioned by the police, don't have to help them in their investigation.
As an American, it’s weirdly reassuring to see the exact same BS from police in other democracies. They don’t get it either. An anonymous free press is essential for transparency. If the state can target you by name just for filming buildings you pay for it defeats the purpose, doesn’t it?
So the police have not enough officers to attend burglaries and other serious crimes but can afford to send two cars and three plods to harrass an auditor?
@@SalvageMasterEssex it's not what he sounds like that matters. It's the principle. Police harassment of individuals going about their day on public property will have ramifications for us all. Anyone can take photos or film anywhere. I live in a tourist city and I've probably ended up in loads of tourist's photos and vid footage. I don't like seeing camera's pointed in my direction but they're free to film or photo anyone anywhere. The guy in this vid wasn't doing anything wrong. That's the point (that you seemed to have missed).
That cocky posh lad wouldn't have gotten anywhere near a police uniform back when I was criminally active in the 70's and 80's. They can turn out, chests puffed up and spouting fiction, when someone is taking pictures, but try and find one doing what they're supposed to do when pensioners are scared and vulnerable people are being robbed and intimidated in our city centres every weekend for the last 10 months and it's crickets. It's a shame what they've become.
Good to see the police have time to spend harassing photographers whilst burglaries and robberies go completely ignored. At best you'll be quoted a "crime number" over the phone. No wonder crime is now rampant n the UK with these police workers devoting their time to non-crimes.
Whenever one calls the police to report an emergency, one should tell them one is working for a firm which represents a lot of money. Success guaranteed!
@@Audit-The-Auditors they completely ignore burglary and drug dealing in my area. Get a camera out and start filming a private building, they are there in a flash
Ive noticed something with these audits. When the auditor gets the better of a pig which is everytime ive noticed the female plods become extremely quite. Their knight becomes a idiot.
I got fed up counting your video`s at 40 and all of the very same subject as this one. So you managed it again, going out to get into an argument about being legally right to take pictures and video`s but that is why you take the pictures and video`s, the sole reason is for a RU-vid channel. You call it auditing but it is nothing of the sort, it is just to have an disagreement with security guards or the police, of course they should know that already, this video is one year old and I really hope not that the police have got the message and you will stop putting these ridiculous video`s on here.
Really good auditing. This guy really educated That tyrant cop who has no idea about the law. Come with his ego trying to make up his own rules but you stood firm and educated him. Great work by bare Britain audits👍
It's not up to you to prove your innocent, it's up to the police to prove your guilt !!!!!! And only a court order can make you revile what's on your camera !!!!
Misinformed nonsense. Section 43 of the Terrorism Act 2000 gives officers have the power to view digital images on a camera or mobile phone when they are searching a person under S43. You mean 'delete' not 'reveal'.
@@Audit-The-Auditors Misinformed nonsense.....in order to conduct a s43 search, the officer must have reasonable grounds to suspect that the person is a terrorist...a man with a camera is not reasonable grounds to suspect that someone is a terrorist. In this case the guy above is correct, the officer has no right to view the camera footage to see whether a public order offence has been committed.
@@shortbreadbiscuit2002 No, the 'guy' is 100% incorrect, he states that ONLY a court order can make you reveal what is on a camera, when that is blatantly wrong. S43 provides the power to do so, yes, under certain circumstances, but a court order is NOT the ONLY way.
Hi B B A, this encounter with the cops here is yet another one where the poor man acts on the basis of what he thinks he knows, the fact that he is deluded might eventually penetrate but here and now he is unable to behave properly in a sensible manner. He insists that his demands are reasonable based on a complaint he has received, he keeps saying that he does not yet know if an offence has been committed, he wants you to give him that evidence!, in fact that is his job to investigate the evidence. Eventually she takes over and behaves a lot better, she asks for and gets your assurance that you will not enter the premises and cause any trouble but he still wants to assert authority that he is not entitled to!. Not for the first time they trot off without satisfaction. I do admire the way you stick in there and resist the tyranny. Cheers, Richard.
They speak with great authority about bugger all …he doesn’t understand someone’s relationship with a camera that’s that they do to film this copper hasn’t s clue what that means who weaponised the camera in the first place
The SHEER IGNORANCE of the law the Police show these days is absolutely incredible. Wish they protected the PUBLIC like they do BIG BUSINESS and THEMSELVES.
It's hard to stand your ground .., especially against a few of them , that can't belive a member of the public said NO .. But you did .. And .. they got nothing.. Basically , they assumed you were guilty , until you proved your innocence... Isn't that the wrong way around?
Why do they send officers out on to the streets when they are not only completely ignorant of the laws, but do not even know their own police policy, it is pathetic to see. That cop was absolutely clueless and embarrassed himself throughout the interaction.
Billy big balls need to learn the law which we the citizens pay him for this was a disgusting why to treat a law abiding citizen this is the type of officers that give all good police officers a bad name now you know why the general public has no faith in the justice system of this country. And how many officers and cars for a man with a camera unbelievable waste of resources
The number of people that are condoning this behaviour is actually shocking. This is clearly carried out in an industrial area. People walking around taking photos and videoing the comings and goings in these areas to my mind are acting suspiciously. In these warehouses /buildings companies hold large amounts of stock/equipment. I would be pleased to see the police stopping and asking what you or anyone is doing videoing in that situation. As it shows that they are doing their jobs possibly preventing theft which drives up business and consumer costs! I'm sorry but the more of these videos I see wasting police time annoy me when as we all know there are so many unsolved actual crimes. If you weren't wasting time and just said you're making a video for RU-vid explaining our rights to video in public spaces rather than being argumentative for the sake of it. There are better ways to make your point without trying to be awkward. I know some coppers can be a bit over zealous but that's no reason to antagonize the situation. be honest they probably would have walked away. Or better yet educate rather than berate and belittle. These are the people we expect to protect us. Hypothetically, If your house is broken into and there was a guy walking around with a camera over the few days before hand wouldn't you want to know that if he was reported or seen the police had asked him why he was there videoing comings and goings from the area.
What a pointless little 'audit'. You seem to get off on showing how well you know a tiny bit of law and go around baiting people. Utterly pointless, except the money you make from your channel.
I wish the law is amended so time wasters like you who are wasting police time and our taxes for RU-vid views and profit while someone is needing police for getting stabbed, a child being abused or another serious problem are being delayed. It boils my blood so much to see yourself doing this for a power trip.
I think the company have a right to ask what your up too…. It’s a bit odd and all your doing is wasting polices time for click bait for your channel sadly
That copper came up all guns blazing, armed with a little bit of hearsay, expecting the auditor to fold, hell bent on insulting the cammers intelligence. His disdainful expression, twisting words, showing off to the other cops. Well, all he did was make himself look ridiculous. Don't trust the police, they're not your friends.
05:22 Almost everyone in this comment section talking bad about the police but watch couple of minutes from here 05:22 the gut recording is clearly dosen't know what he is talking about..
at 1.20 min Who is allowed you ? well there we go a bit higher up... ,, ECHR European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms ECHR) is a European treaty in which the human and civil rights of all residents of the member countries are laid down (article 10). allows filming in the public sector, even people in public and in government buildings and in to private property if done from public , everything you can see from public (even if you point into private buildings and sites) you can photo and record it since November 4, 1950, Google Earth (with zoom) google maps, google street view, DRONE LEGISLATION ARISES FROM THIS LAW, cars with a dash cam going by this law
“I’ve been fair with you”…..HOW did he pass the entrance exam….cheated?……the WPC was the only one showing a shred of intelligence … he needs to be educated and have a shave
2 police cars and personnel. Just think how much that cost. The police are throwing money away every day. When somebody calls them to complain that someone is filming, the response should be "so what?"
