Everyone talks about how Yuna was completely robbed of the gold medal and I definitely agree, but I feel like she was so painfully overlooked. I’m completely and utterly shocked she finished in 9th, it’s not right.
This was amazing to see, I love those programs where u can feel all the pasion through the movements, the way that she just focus on the next elements perfectly after the fall on the 3F, considering that those olympics were her FIRST ineternational competition, it’s just amazing, what a lovely program She defintly didn’t get the deserved recognition
A real lutz is certainly nice to see. I’m more impressed though by her turn out, line, difficult turns, and musicality! Someone like Trusova has an outside edge lutz but lacks many of the above qualities that make a good skater.
I don't think she ever got enough credit in 2014. She was doing as much difficulty as anyone, and this was a great vehicle for her and should have been rewarded. I know people mention her arms a lot as making her look juniorish, but she was just as talented as Yulia and Adelina.
Other than with the fall, she executed everything very well, especially on the spins, not much people are able to stay in one area like that. I would’ve scored it slightly higher
Lots of butthurt people in the comments. This routine was beautiful and done with CORRECT jumping technique, which is something that Anna Shcherbakova does not have, as lovely as she may be.
Wow. What a great skater. No wonder some people are so jaundiced by frustration. It's too bad Russia does not have an athlete with as much poise and grace along with all the right skill finesses that Polina has. You can infiltrate the ISU all you want but worthy talent like this you will never be able to buy or sell. Such jealousy that shows. Instead of spite, Russia, why don't you stop scheming your way at the Olympics and intentionally drugging your skaters, hoping it increases their opportunities at winning? No one in this worldly populace likes you, anyway (aside from you...naturally). And obviously we all know why that is. It is well-known you have no boundaries for favoring manipulation of the system. You are continuing to disregard RULES that the rest of us have to follow. Sit down and be quiet for once.... Polina is a beautiful performer on ice and the audience will always admire watching her. She's an absolutely beautiful person on the inside and outside. And also intelligent. It's so funny to me that Russia is wanting to hurl insults at poor Polina who wins her competitions fairly based on her hard work...and not swallowing an illegal substance or forging affiliations with members of the judging and the whole ISU. What a joke. Please halt humoring us.
Фигурное катание сегодня - это совершенно другой уровень. Катание Полины как будто из 90-х годов. Странно, что она еще выступает с критикой чемпионок Олимпиады в Пекине.

I don’t care for her . I didn’t care for her comments about Anna the gold-medal winner . I think she shows artistic elements with gold medal did you win at the Olympic or silver or bronze? why don’t you let us know why don’t you become a coach and go to Russian train them on your technique
I was just watching her to see if her critiques were genuine or if they come from a place of jealousy, seems to be the latter.... I found this routine slow and boring

@@zeel5689 it is foolish to blame all athletes for one uninvestigated case. All samples of Anna and Alexandra were checked and nothing was found there. So Polina's envious comments have no rational basis.
@@mariasorokina7358 yes let them investigate. I wasn’t blaming all athletes… though Russia has a big history with doping scandals so why would anyone be inclined to believe it was an accident or that it still isn’t widespread? 🤭
@@awuma she has no proof of her words. Why should we believe her words and not the wada tests that were carried out at all serious international competitions?
