The guys correctly noted that when you pull the trigger, the palm turns into a fist, as it were. For some reason, such an association never occurred to me, but the video sequence helped to see a certain new meaning. In a figurative sense: the palm (peace, handshake) turns into a fist (fight, defense).
She had a kill count of 309. They even had her travel to the US to meet with people and troops. She met with First Lady Roosevelt. And she met with her again in 1957 to attend a opera. The most important thing she did while on her tour of the US was speaking to the largely male crowd, asking, "Don't you think, gentlemen, that you have been hiding behind my back for too long?" 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Translating the comment above. "The film shows us a story about a real girl, who in the first days of the war, immediately after graduation, called into the Army as a sniper and goes to the battlefront in Sevastopol. For Sevastopol there were fierce battles with the Nazis, the city had to be abandoned - and this was tragic, cause not everyone was able to evacuate, but you understand how brutally the Nazis dealt with those who fought against them... This girl (main character) was invited to the White House, to America, became close friends with the President's wife, spoke at a press conference, where she said: "I alone killed 350 fascists, how long are you going to hide behind my back?" In other words, she called on America to open "second battlefront" to really help the Soviet Union in the fight against Nazism! America didn't engage into an open war with Germany for a long time, played a double game, watched for the result of the fiercest battle between the USSR and Nazi Germany."
The story was about real person. Pavlichenko or "Lady Death" for her incredible ability with a sniper rifle who was credited with 309 confirmed kills, making her the most successful female sniper in recorded during World War II
I would like to clarify the information. Pavlichenko Lyudmila Mikhailovna was a volunteer, like many other women of that time in the USSR. American country singer Woody Guthrie wrote the song “Miss Pavlichenko” about her[6]. In Canada, the Soviet military delegation was greeted by several thousand Canadians gathered at Union Station Toronto. At one of the meetings with journalists, after regular questions about the details of the life of a female soldier, she uttered the legendary phrase: I am 25 years old, at the front I managed to destroy 309 fascist invaders. Don't you think, gentlemen, that you've been hiding behind my back for too long? This phrase drew applause and brought the American public closer to understanding what was happening on the eastern front and the need to open a second front.
This is the soundtrack to the film "Sevastopol" about a female hero, a sniper-Lyudmila Pavlyuchenko, who in the Second world war alone destroyed 309 fascists. Women and even 16 - year-old children fought in this war as volunteers, and then 27 million citizens died in the USSR (!), it was the bloodiest war in the history of mankind.Every Russian family had ancestors(grandfathers or great - grandfathers ),so for us this war is a personal tragedy that everyone remembers with tears
This is the soundtrack to the film "Battle for Sevastopol" about the defense of the city of Sevastopol on the Crimean peninsula in 1941-1942, based on real events. A film about the fate of a woman sniper during the Great Patriotic War.
The original song of Viktor Tsoi - Cuckoo. The legend of Russian rock. 30 years have passed since the day of his death, and even the younger generation still sing his songs.
You have started a very serious conversation about the war. This topic may lead you to the need to create a new channel. The fact is that 27 million (!) people, residents of the USSR, died in the Second World War. Every family has victims of this massacre. The victory was very difficult. And cinema (first the USSR, then Russia), of course, does not bypass this topic. In many films, scenes of war, everyday life, occupation, betrayal, heroism, hard work in the rear are shown very realistically. Sometimes it's so hard to look at. But it was all there. Here is a summary of your question. By the way, the actress you saw in the music video recently flew to the International Space Station, where the first full-length movie was shot in real space conditions. Coming soon on screens!
@@Amicy the USSR, the Soviet people (Russians), fought against the most terrible enemy who was killing us on an industrial scale (as I would like to kill more at a time, so that it would be faster). This enemy destroyed us by thousands, tens of thousands. PEACEFUL people. 10 million soldiers died. Fascist Europe killed 17 million peaceful people of the USSR. 10 million soldiers died. They tried to destroy us. At first, with huge losses, we desperately tried to save the country, retreating 2000 km. And then with big with losses, they tried to destroy the enemy and drive him as far as possible into his lair. And the USA has been watching us being killed for a long time. We've been watching it for several years. And then the troops landed. When we became fast get closer to Berlin.
When we were kids, we ask a cuckoo in the forest how many years we have remained to live, so the cuckoo is cuckooing (if I may say that), and we are counting.
If you really want to know what it was like on Eastern front during WW2 (we call it Great Patriotic War) you definitely should watch "Come and see". The scenario was written by those who lived all of that shit through. One of them was German soldier who was trying, I don't know, to repay somehow everything was done. Some of them participated in film as actors. It's really soften version as when first version of scenario was written and they reread it, one of them said if they filmed it as was even they themselves weren't be able to watch it to the end. Soviet censor didn't allow release of th movie for pretty long time. Piece of advice if I may, don't eat before watching.

In English In about 162 days, Nazi Germany captured "heroic Europe." Then the united Europe attacked the USSR. The USSR fought the fascist coalition for 1,418 days and won. In his documents, Hitler planned to take some of the citizens of the USSR into slavery (for work), drive some of them to the east, and destroy as much as possible by industrial means. 27 million Soviet citizens (about 9 million military and 18 million civilians) were killed. Do you think the civilians wanted to defend their country or not? Most of the civilians participated in the war. Someone works in factories for 16 hours seven days a week. In the blockaded Leningrad, people worked for three pieces of bread a day (the rest were given one, the military - four). Sometimes there was another meal. Hundreds of thousands of civilians fought in the occupied territory, hiding in the forests. On the Soviet-German front, the main military forces of the fascist coalition were destroyed - a total of 607 divisions. Anglo-American troops defeated and captured 176 divisions.
dude, u should ask those who used to be part of Soviet Union. it is is not only Russia. I am from Kazakhstan and was born in Soviet Union technically. My grands were born before 1930, so they gone through famines, wars and totalitarian regimes. nothing funny there, if u wanna know....nothing funny.
