I hand raised some growing up. The females were amazing creatures. They were docile, curious, a little skittish, but very loving. One was the second best brood momma we had. The roosters were a pain in my legs. We eventually gave them to a friend because they were so ornery.
My roosters are completely opposite. All mine are super sweet and love attention. I pet and pick them up all the time and they'll come straight up to me like they want me to😍❤
I have one the rest are my moms mine is named private Ryan because I used to think they look like ramy helmets on them, so when I got her and I reflected on that so I named her after my favorite war movie "saving private Ryan" I named her PRIVATE RYAN
The polish rooster we have, (Fluffy) we let him outside but only when it is warm enough and only within our sights. He is very sweet and although he is sometimes bullied by the others we are still there to take care of him
Mines not a show bird, shes a yard bird. She lives with 4 other hens,a bamtam old english game rooster and 2 pekin ducks. Shes the most spaztic dumb bird iv ever seen.
I would like to see you do a video on how you bath them and trim their feathers. My son is in FFA and shows chickens. I prefer to show instead of raising for meat. He would prefer this also. He has Rhode Island Reds big and beautiful. A cock and a hen. I love the polish breed but want to know more on how to handle and care for them.
I wished I had some white crested black polish exhibition type chickens as you have here. Do you sell eggs or adult birds? If so I'm interested. Let me know at your own convenience. Thanks.
