First off, I’m obsessed with the ring!!! I love how you match them to the theme each month! There are some seriously pretty polishes this month. My favorites are probably By Dany Vianna, Chamaeleon, Dreamland and Ethereal. The Chamaeleon so perfectly matches the inspo!

first, i loveeee your ring. secondly, some of these happily caught me by surprise, but i noticed wayyyy too many purples (and i love purples) that were wayyyy too similar in color and shifts. thank you so much for the beautiful swatches. i’m most excited for night owl, ethereal, cuticula, lumen, dany, chameleon, dreamland, and hearts and promises. now i have to really choose which ones i want the most. 💚💚💚
Thanks for the video! The polishes (and that ring) look amazing. I love the way Sassy Sauce Polish's You Hooooo!!! looks, but I would be very surprised if I don't already have a polish that looks similar to it!
Probably been asked before but, do you need the UV lamp for the Chameleon nail polish, or will it change just by getting outside in direct sunlight? I'm assuming yes but just want to be sure...
Direct sunlight is all that's needed! I simply use a UV flashlight since I do swatching at night with my day job. Basically any UV light transitions it (but be sure your top coat doesn't have UV protection or it will dampen it)
really appreciate your swatches! I can't say i know all of the cartoons but I appreciate the mix of different inspirations too, even seeing some that I didn't expect and they're all so pretty ☺️

@CosmeticSanctuary Thank you for responding so fast. I have bought so many different types of products, tips, builder gels, and the list goes on. No matter what I cannot get them to look decent. I've watched multiple tutorials on different applications. It's either too drawn out with too many distractions, or not including what products are used. Unfortunately my natural nails are a lost cause. They peel, chip, and break and don't grow out right. I used to have such gorgeous, strong nails, that grew ridiculously quick. Now, that option is gone. I can't wait to see your technique and will be following exactly how you explain it. Would you mind letting me know what products that I need to buy? I would like to go ahead and order what I need to have it on hand. 😊 Thank you so much!!!

Beautiful swatches as always! My favorites are BCB lacquers and Dreamland! I hardly see anyone talking about Johnny Quest! It was a childhood favorite of mine too! So happy a maker created a polish based on it!🥰
I was surprised to see that too! I saw the polish and name first and honestly was like "Must be Frozen" but that didn't seem very "Crystal Knockout" like... so when I saw what the theme was - I loved it!
I went all-in last month, so I’m being picky in anticipation of rewind. I am disappointed Tricia and you didn’t receive the Vanessa Molina. I wanted to see video of it as the photos made the flakies look bioluminescent. Is it shiny enough for me to sell something to afford it? Inquiring mind needs to know! The only one I picked that wasn’t one of your top picks is Rogue. I don’t have one like it.
I’ve been using Monarch Lacquer. The name is escaping me but it’s linked in the description box above. I also have used Cuticula limitless and Sweet & Sour Lacquer Gloss Sauce without issue
To be honest I’m pretty disappointed in the lack of creativity by makers this month! Seems like a lot of folks just slapped a cartoon reference on the name but didn’t try to tie it to inspiration from the actual shows whatsoever! I feel like Night Owl did a great job with My Beans and Ethereal NAILED IT with Cowboy Bebop but a lot of them were meh. Like what does the orange/green/blue have to do with Gravity Falls whatsoever? Also way too many Powerpuff Girl references!
Fair enough. Honestly a lot of the cartoons I wasn't familiar with, and Powerpuff Girls wasn't something I ever watched. I am someone who likes to know the reference/inspo in relation to the polish though - so it's good to hear from someone more familiar how they feel about the inspo related to the creation!
That seems like a harsh judgment. Beaux Reves, Jior, Jen and Berries, Dam, Cliondah are just a few off the top of my head that nailed this theme and their inspiration.
I have so much appreciation and respect for all these makers who mostly have other jobs and do this for fun. If it’s not my cup of tea I can still appreciate the effort and artistic components of these polishes. One persons boring is another persons ooooh I don’t have anything like that. Thank you for the time you take to get us these swatches. Maybe those unsatisfied with the offerings need to add to the indie polish community and create these missing less boring polishes. Just saying.
