This was so hard to get under 5:10. The camel humps, the NASCAR corner and the BRUTAL tires make this stage one of the most deceptively difficult in the game. Enjoy!

@@rakanfd992 Ok. First of all, just drive slow as f***. You won't gain any World Record but you will start to understand how the car reacts in situations while having the time to recover them. My Mum tries this whenever she has a go on RBR/DiRT and she manages to finish the stage so it does work. Next, listen to the pacenotes. If you were playing RBR I would suggest changing some of them but in DiRT you just have to remeber all the dodgy pace notes and keep a mental note of them. Thirdly, keep MINIMUM wheel inputs. There's this stage called Kailajarvi (y'know, the one where it's basically a toned down version of 4:11 for the last km or so), and even the slightest input (especially in a fast car) will cause you to wrap your car around a tree or get Rock'ed. Also you will drive faster since when you steer less, less inertia is on the car. Next, remember your right foot is not a switch. There is a middle ground which is incredibly useful when you get massive oversteer (like, especially in RWD car, pressing throttle at 20% works wonders, since you are not spinning the wheels like you are at 100% and not uspsetting the car balance like if you were to completely lift off). Next, experiment with setup. There's this channel called Viperconcept on RU-vid and it has the BEST setup tutorials. Most are for circuit racing but they will have the same effect on your car. Just use different values. Finally, don't ever quit. My first time rallying (DiRT Rally 1, Audi on Monte Carlo) was three years ago now and I could not make a single corner. In 2019 I start practising like a madman and now people consider me to be one of the best (virtual) rally drivers in the world, something three years ago I would have pi$$ed myself laughing at if you told me. Even if your goal is not to be World Record Thanos you still must carry on because eventually it will click and you will find the wonders of rallying.
@@imprezzive5556 you should do an AMA on the simrally subreddit. Your replays are amazing and for most racers it's very difficult to convey their knowledge. How do you learn to test the limits when steering? Your steering angles look impossibility steep.
