Looks just the nymph for fresh run spawning rainbow on the Tongariro, New Zealand. Nice video. Will tie up a few for my next trip. Thanks.

Thank you for posting. It is a very simple nymph but I enjoyed watching and here is why: you tie at a very relaxed pace which is nice to see. Too many tyers, tie too quickly and the finished fly reflects it. Also, you technique is very, very good and you use the right amount of thread wraps. Too many tyers use too many wraps. Very nice nymph. I have never thought of tying with pink beads but have seen it twice now. Do you find it a good color for catching trout? Thanks for sharing. All the best, and God Bless. Sean
