this footage was no good. the nastiness of the spike can only be seen if you had a measuring system and the multiple camera angles to capture the raw power which comes out... then again, there's nothing like seeing it live as i had the pleasure of seeing one of my friends hit the ceiling at the Cal State Northridge gym (5 stories tall) some years ago... and that was high school. i long for the days when eric sato and steve timmons hit scoreboard in "the forum" in LA.
It's not because you can do it that it's not great. And besides that, they're hitting the net because they're only concentrating on hitting the ball hard to make it bounce high enough. In a match you will quite never see them touching the net.
Świetny pomysł, swietna zabawa;D Kto trochę bardziej zna się na siatkóce i potrafi grać, wie co to znaczy wbić gwoździa i zna to przyjemne uczucie:D Ten konkurs mozna porównać do konkursu wsadów w NBA;pp
for those asking about the netting: 1. this is not a game and more like a practice 2. if the ball hits the ground before the player touches the net, the play is already over and the point is good
dude i wish i could spike like that. but my ankle is sprained and im spiking from ground level without jumping:'( and i sprained it from spiking:( but i have an amazing serve;)
If you can get high enough, one of the things you can do to almost always get a point is to fake a hard spike, hang in the air just a bit longer, then tap the volleyball sideways, and as long as it's over the net, the defenders are already up in the air so there's no way are going to reach it.
This contest is a golden nail, I do not know how well written, because I use an interpreter. Lies in the fact that a player must be as high stick the ball effectively.
I play with the net at 2,35m and I have 1,76m; the best I can do is put my mouth above the net (in a good day xD). When I look at this guys I think: "What a baby I am" -.-
