Your videos are dangerous to everyone's wallets because everything always looks beautiful ❤️ thank you for showing a variety of ways that these polishes can be worn
Wow thank you so much for showing these with the snow base and without. You always go above and beyond. The video is still on 💛 but i already know im going to need all of these. I was just saying the other day i needed some neon shimmers & PFDs is one of my favorite brands 😍
Neon Surge.... 😍There is something so magical about warm, coraly pinks/oranges paired with an icy cold shimmer. It gives me the feeling of eating snow cones by the pool on a sweltering summer day.
Oh goodness, these are stunning! PFD is officially my favorite brand, I love everything she makes!! I may need the whole collection, but definitely at least 3. The neon yellow green and electria.
Course I did! It’s an awesome collection and you make awesome videos and you love neons and I am here for neons. There was no way this one wasn’t gonna be a banger.
Yay!!! I have been waiting to see you swatch these. 😁 Thank you so much for the comparisons both with and without snow and the holo topcoat! Your swatches are always SO gorgeous. 😍
5:11 you just blew my actual mind with that comparison! 🤯😵 I rewatched it multiple times, trying to figure it out.. You can absolutely see a difference between basecoat & no basecoat.. My best guess it that the blurring base allows the polish base colour to appear more opaque, therefore the shimmer doesn't pop quite as much.. Without blurring base, the polish base colour is intentionally sheer, to allow the shimmer to really be the star of the show. Which is why so many shifty shimmer polishes start off so sheer - so the shimmer can pop! 😂 That probably made no sense but I don't claim to know anything about the science of polish, it's just my best guess as someone who wears/buys a lotttt of polish 🤣🤣🤣 Super appreciate you sharing that particular comparison - I tend to always wear a blurring base under shimmers, so it's really good to see the different finishes that can be achieved & muse about why polish is designed to be sheer sometimes 🤓 👏👏👏
Thank you again for such a detailed and gorgeous review! 🥰 they are all gorgeous and since I cannot choose, they will most likely all find their way home 💞
I’ve been using snow as a base coat for neons lately too! I love it. It’s not as stark and fussy as putting a pure white under a neon, but it still does a great job of brightening. Beautiful swatches! These are all stunning. I was thinking I didn’t need that purple until I saw your swatches and damn I do want it. The cyan reminds me of the one from the bluebird lacquer neon shimmers from last summer. I guess I’m a sucker for neon shimmers and always wind up getting them!
Gosh these are SOOO pretty!!!! 😍😍😍 i loved how you showed the difference between using the soft focus basecoat vs not, its soo helpful! My favorite is obviously Fluorescent but i also loveeee Elektra 🤩 they’re all great though!
I wish I could pull off colors like High Voltage, 'cause it's gorgeous! 🥺 Every single color is beautiful, especially with the new top coat. Fluorescent is my favorite. I always look forward to your reviews, tfs! ✨
I ordered on the 23rd and was able to get 4 of the polishes, the good news is that some of the colors and the crystalline top coat might be coming back later in the summer. Limelight and Shockwave are the most glowy shimmers! When the polishes come back, I think I will get the snow base too.
Omg, I was very collected though the whole video, going, o yea thats pretty, but when the last one showed up .... o man, I want it on my fingers now!!! Absolutely beautiful collection all around!
Polished for Days was the first Indi I ever used. Still really impressed with the polishes this is a great set that I really like with or without the basecoat. So glad I've already bought that, by the way. That top coat is really pretty
Loving these! It's good to know that this collection doesn't necessarily depend on 'Snow' to be impressive, so thanks loads for including comparisons (I do have most of the Soft Focus bcs, but Snow just never levels on my highly ridged nails... The other tints do. Weird. I might try these over the Rose one. Or buff my nails a bit before trying SF again...) Great set of swatches par usuale!
OK, I can't watch your videos anymore!! your swatches get me EVERY. TIME.!! I've been saying, nah I don't need this whole collection... was just going to get shockwave and the top coat... NOW I NEED ALLL OF THEMMMMM!!! :)
Thank you for beautiful swatches! I wonder if this is just me but Shockwave reminds me of Fun Dip from May PPU, but a little more blue. Now I wonder if I need both. My favorites are the Neon Surge and Fluorescent but I will sit a little because I am not sure how well they will work with my skin tone.
I am hoping they return one day. I genuinely think Neon Surge is OOAK... there's a similar but sheerer version of it available from BKL this month called The Phoenix Queen
They are distant cousins. Violet prism is lighter and Eletrka is more purple. Violet Prism has a rainbow shimmer with more shifts than Elektra and the shimmer is more fine than Elektra
