Discover the standard machine tool, type MTS. It is specifically designed for auto airfoil grinding, finishing and polishing of steam turbine blades, fan blades, buckets and vanes.
The MTS allows the grinding, finishing, linishing, deburring, profiling and blending of the most sophisticated turbine blade geometries whilst maintaining tight tolerances.
Thanks to 6 CNC axis, a coolant-based process and robust machine design even heavy stock removal can be achieved. This allows optimization of upstream milling processes and tremendous savings in the entire manufacturing process chain.
Polishing of all airfoil shapes, root and transition areas as well as the profiling of leading and trailing edges in the highest achievable accuracy and quality within unmatched cycle times.
