Just when I was thinking that this day couldn’t get any-better. I haven’t even watched the video in full yet, but I can already tell that it’s going to be. 🎉 ❤ Good Work Comrade. ✊
I didn't know who Alexandra Kollontai was, until this series. By episode 4 I'm very intrigued by and admire her personal struggle! Thank you comrade for shedding light on her story! 🇨🇳🇻🇳
I listen to you finbol from. Liverpool. England. It just so happens that my daughter lives in. Helsinki. Finland. English teacher. Thanks for your. Education. Keep telling the truth. The truth is. 99%. Revolutionary. Best wishes. Finbol. Keep doing what you do. I salute you 🫡
Comrade. Your narration in the final minutes coupled with the intense music had me on the edge of my seat....then suddenly it's the end of the video ! Looking forward to part 5 .
Ironically Lenin actually was not happy that Kollontai's project (which included nationalizing some monasteries as orphanages) led to a confrontation with the church. As a result the soviet government had to rush out a declaration outlining their position on separation of church and state, and church from schools.
There's all kinds of sources on this site mltheory.wordpress.com/the-real-history-of-the-soviet-union/ Peoples’ Democracies by Wilfred G. Burchett is good www.revolutionarydemocracy.org/archive/burch0.htm

FinBol (and orhers please critique me as much as you like for my current point of view on religion: A marxist state should use religion atheistically! And create atheistic temples that can mimic and/or mix and match religious traditions, but just minus the believe in spirituality or anything unscientific. For example a new "buddhist" like temple can still do meditations and teach that meditations can make you more peaceful, but also acknowledge they won't help you achieve any "enlightenment" and that there is no reincarnation.
You are basically describing the revisionist theory of "god-building" developed by the empiriocritics (idealists) and ultra-left otzovists. The Soviet short philosophical dictionary by Yudin and Rosenthal says: "God-seeking and God-building are religious and philosophical movements that arose among the bourgeois and petty-bourgeois intelligentsia of Russia after the defeat of the revolution of 1905-1907. During these years, “the Russian bourgeoisie, for its counter-revolutionary purposes, needed to revive religion, raise the demand for religion, invent a religion, instill in the people or strengthen religion among the people in a new way. The preaching of God-building therefore acquired a social, political character.” “The new religion began to be preached, on the one hand, by God-seekers (Merezhkovsky and decadent poets) and, on the other hand, by God-builders (Yushkevich, Valentinov, Bazarov, Lunacharsky, Bogdanov). Essentially, there is no difference between God-seeking and God-building. While the God-seekers openly preached religious obscurantism, the God-builders tried to Create a kind of new, “socialist” religion and thus “unite” religion with Marxism. God-building was part of the general revision of Marxism that the Russian Machists launched against the philosophical and theoretical foundations of Marxism. Lenin, exposing the reactionary, class essence and political harm of god-building, wrote: “You have tinted, sugar-coated the idea of the clerics, the Purishkevichs, Nicholas II and G. G. Struve, because in fact the idea of God helps them keep the people in slavery. Having embellished the idea of God, you have embellished the chains with which they bind the workers and people.”" Meditation is fine but it should be done without a religious connotation. Certainly there should be no temples.
@@thefinnishbolshevik2404 Thank you FinBol you are clearly very knowledgeable. So might it be useful to create atheist or secular community groups that use "religious" practices in a non-religious way? Can we take much from religions and use them in a helpful to Marxists, non-religious way? Note, to me I don't feel like "praying" for me personally has to require me genuinely believing in anything mystical or spiritual or religious. I'm atheist but I enjoy a feeling of praying and repeating religious "mantras" and a feeling of "spirituality" even though I don't believe in spirituality (I'm still exploring). Does this make me unhelpful to the Marxist movement? By the way, I'm probably not going to judge you for your response to this. I've heard you say you're in a Marxist Leninist workers party in Finland from memory, I genuinely believe (non-revisionist) Marxist Leninists like yourself try to help and do help the world. You're one of the main reasons I stopped being a semi-progressivish and became a communist (Marxist Leninist leaning). Do you have any resources I could read/hear/watch on this issue please? I hope to become a better Marxist. Thank you
