With all the uncertainty and infinite possibility of this world, this consciousness, what would you rather the last thing you say to a child or a parent; "I love you" , or total indifference to them. We never know when the last moment that we'll see another person of whom we have emotional bonds or ties to. I myself will always defer to "I love you" to anyone who I have a bond with, because when I'm gone, I don't want someone second guessing as to my feelings about them, lingering into the future.......
Pretty good show, but I'm not sure there's one right way to raise a child. Some kids are developmentally disabled and some are narcissistic sociopaths. Knowing that there are consequences to actions is probably of benefit to most kids though.
Jason Wyman most if not all parents are doing it wrong now......all the interference from schools, tv,government, nosy neighbors, and oprah have made good parenting almost impossible....we are building a third generation of entitled, spoiled brats who know how to SAY all the right stuff, but are too self centered and indifferent to DO the right things.....
My word, Bill Maher actually lets someone discuss the Bible, God, and religious principles without deriding and mocking them! Where did this Bill Maher go? What HAPPENED to you, man? You used to be AWESOME! And then somewhere down the line, you sell out to the Far Left, and become a total jerk.... BTW--Shelley Long's as wonderful as ever! Nice to see she knows her Bible (her line on the greatest commandment).
