I truly believe that fun decks like these are waaay better than competitive meta decks. Always have that 50/50 of win or loose based on gimmicks is so much fun
Fr,I never really liked the idea of a meta. As a kid I always thought everyone came up with their own deck ideas instead of just copying them from others, winning tournaments with them, and then suddenly they're a "skilled player"? The idea of archetypes invalidate so many unique ideas.
Aww, I'm glad. Yeah, just start posting and learn from the techniques of others. I didn't get views at first, but I just kept going. Just keep going and growing.
I usually play Tina VStar (not very popular but it’s what I’m comfortable with) and played against this deck and o have to say the interactions were very fun! More people should really try new things and get out of their comfort zone more often.
They need to reprint DCE! God I miss that energy in Standard! It's better than DTE! I invested in 4 DCE Expanded Decks. Some of my decks that use DTE, I exported and then imported them on the Expanded side and replaced my 4 DTE with 4 DCE. I have built: Hisiuian Zoroark V-Star/Munkidori/Froslass Blissey/Munkidori/Froslass Wigglytuff/Munkidori/Froslass Hatterene VMax/Munkidori/Frolass All 4 require DTE, but I exported them and imported them to the Expanded Side and put 4 DCE in place of 4 DTE. Being able to deal the full damage instead of missing 20 damage makes a huge difference.
@PopsicleKnight Yet, they can print Charizard ex, Chien Pao, Roaring Moon ex and non ex, and Teal Mask Ogrepon ex? They also have Marnie's Grimmsnarl, which has Punk Up, that allows the player to search their decks for up to 5 Basic Darkness Enery and attach them to their Marnie's Pokémon in any way you like upon evolution with no drawbacks and it can stack because it says nothing about not being able to use that Ability once per turn. Now, THAT is broken. At least when Forretress ex searches the deck for 5 Grass Energy, it gets KO'd. Trainer Pokémon are returning next year. DCE still exists in Expanded. I'm sure they can reprint it for Standard.
Definitely a difficult choice. Belt puts you at 290/270 dmg, letting you take the Raging bolt and Iron hands KOs even with DTE and Gardevoir that has taken some damage from recurring some energy. Cape lets you survive a hit from Dragapult/Regidrago, Charizard if you have taken 2 or less prizes, Gardevoir itself (but not it's main attackers). But Iron hands breaks through with 2 damage boosters, Raging bolt with 1 extra energy and Chien-pao with 2 extra energy. So ultimately it depends on what matchups you face the most often.
Do you think this deck have some potential, bro? I have played it a lot and its really fun; any suggestion are welcome, too! @@PopsicleKnight they look 1rs, but various of them are in different collections... Arven, bosses... The problem is TM Dev, but the main poke is Machamp for disrupt and the chance of survival... Thanks for take a look! And waiting for your next masterpiece!
Do you know if the swim freely deck is still a thing now? It was my favourite for the longest time but haven't played in like over a year.. I think single prize decks feel so much more fun
Since Baxcalibur is a great water energy accelerator, the whole Swim Freely mechanic is just not viable anymore, especially it's limited only to a few Pokemon.
