Excelent review and thanks that you give the explication of how we can connect the PSW 10 with that speaker connection. I don’t think this is something new but I didn’t have any idea’s. Chears and enjoy your setup.
Sorry: the question but if my amplifier has the PRE Out, by connecting with two RCA cables the Polk Audio HTS 10 works if I then use the remote control, to raise the volume of the amplifier can work simultaneously? I would like to use it paired with two Falcon Ls3/5 bookshelf speakers.Thank You
I heard people say the hts-10 and the hts-12 have issue with Auto On function and will go to sleep during movies/games and kicks in late when there is low frequency audio coming in from the source. Is this true on your end? Is it better to use DC Control instead?
thank you for the review, I am from Ukraine and purchased a polk audio kit and now I am considering buying a subwoofer and I think I need a lower power subwoofer since the room has 16m square
Go with the hts 10 i currently own 2 of them ive also owned the pws10. The sound quality is leagues above the psw10 much cleaner tight bass virtually no port noise thanks to polks power port im running 2 of them along with 2 klipsch r120sw personally think the polks dig deeping in the bass then klipsch does
Dont get wrong. The pws 10 is a solid unit but if you are spending the cash you wont be disappointed with the hts10. I was rather surprised by the sound that came out of it with only 100 watt rms amp (200 peak) but its a class d amp stays cool under high volumes my speakers have a efficiency of 92 db
@@addismultitasking3504 Speedwoofer 12" will blow it away for a few bucks more. SVS SB-2000 and the best of all Rythmik L12 is in another league all together. Better reliability and warranty too. That said, the Polk easily looks the best but that's about it.
@@addismultitasking3504 I cannot believe Polk audio would drop the power on there new model makes no sense to me what so ever my 10 inch is even 200 watts why would they make a 12 inch the same power rating.
I never had the 505, I upgraded from the PSW108, which is overall a bit better than the PSW10. I am running 2x HTS12s and it is so powerful you can literally feel it, not hear it. I am extremely satisfied with that sub. Room is around 450sqft.
