Your reactions are always spot on. That’s how everyone reacted back then. Every girl wanted to be with him and every guy wanted to be him. I know I did.
@@DaniAtkinson 😄😄 Yep. It's also funny cuz u would have thought that u we're there in the audience. Imagine how excited the ladies there must've felt. And thanks for your uploads.
What makes Elvis the best......the man himself and the many songs he sang and the only Elvis grade how he sang every song. 10x better than anyone else . . He is the greatest singer ...rock gospel pop ...country ...so on...songs from the heart.
He was in mesmerizing sync with the band. The stage presence and charisma was off the charts. He turned that simple song into an electrifying performance. Your reactions were as if you were in that audience!
I was fortunate to see the show at the Las Vegas International Hotel when I came back from my first cruise from Nam in March or April 1970 my friend got us tickets right next to the stage. It was the best show I ever saw in my 71 years. Elvis was always my favorite performer
Elvis par ses qualités de chant et sa présence sur scène donne à cette chanson une grande force.Il attire les spectateurs qui le suivent . Amazing singer and dancer. Very good job Dani Atkinson. RIP ELVIS . FRANCE.
I love elvis since i was very younger and espacially the intro of this song when i was 2 old years but i crying when elvis begin to sing said to me my parents 😳 . i was born in 1973 and i still sing his song in a bands . A big hunk o love for you dear . -From france
Yes yes darling I Know Isn't it Fantastic.... I Always Becomes goosebumps When I see Elvis....... I love him so much Forever and Ever.... Maybe you can do Tomorrow Never Comes..... or I am leaving... Thanks Again Beautiful lady💋❤
I can only imagine how so electrifying and totally exciting it was to be in that audience. Especially if u we're in the front three rows. Lord have mercy. There will never be another Elvis.
I was 9 when Elvis died. At that age I listened to his music and dance and moved like him. Thats how much I liked him. He was truly a very handsome guy, i just love the guy.
1950s and early 60s and from 68 to 70 that's when Elvis was at his absolute best this is rhythm and blues combined with 70s rock unbelievable performance ihis las Vegas superhero qualities along with great showmanship makes this performance unbelievable 1970 was Elvis's best year of the 70s great performance great video ✌🏼😎✋🏼✋👍🏼
DANI, "THE KING" that is why even to this day some 50 years after this electrifying performance no one else past , present , or even future can come close to the legendary ELVIS PRESLEY. As I have said before it is good to see a younger person like you enjoying the power of "THE KING" and bringing to others. Again THANKS, you are an awesome talent as a performer yourself { saw your music video on RU-vid} I feel as though that helps you to see the showmanship of ELVIS. THANK YOU
Well ur reaction says it all....that's the same reaction thats been going on since day one with elvis...1970 was definitely a year to remember....he was in his prime....and his band accented every move he made which made it more exciting.....keep up the great videos
Thanks for another great Elvis reaction video! 1970 was a great year for him because he was finally done with the movie contract and he could do what he loved, performing in front of a live audience.
Elvis was a very high level black belt and you can see a lot of his movements are parts of Katas that he probably performed a 1000 times in his training. 1 cool, badass dude! Elvis is the GOAT!!!
I came back to this song/performance once again. I can really here Ronnie Tutt going like nuts on the drums. The drumbeat and Elvis's gyrating plus the Sweet Inspirations doing the chicka bom in sync with it makes this performance skyrocket
@@DaniAtkinson The simple truth is. Elvis was the real package. The real beautiful thing about Elvis is that he remained humble and generous til his dying day. Along with his very special incomparable singing. Keep the reactions coming Dani. We all love ya. God bless.
Hey Dani I hope your doing ok Great Reactions. I was looking at a old photo of me standing next to his grave it was taken about 25 yrs ago. I can't believe time has past by. When i was a kid i used to try to imitate him and sing like him but it didn't work. There is only one KING! I had a chance to see him with a friend but i got sick and my mother wouldn't let me because i was only ten at the time. Keep up the good work Dani because ELVIS is the best. I love your reactions. If you can could you react to "What Now My Love" from the Honolulu concert from 1973. Great Performance.
You crack me up 😂 on how you react to him. I’m feeling the same way and then I lol at you and your expression is matching mine. He has that charisma that it’s tough not to smile and feel giddy! Lol😂😂😜😜👍🏻👍🏻
That man is smokin hot1🔥🔥 I love his movements in this song wow could he move! Now you know why he's so addicting once you go Elvis you wont go back😘😍🤩💙💜❤
Did that man own the stage or what? The energy level, I mean there are times you see him reach that unrivaled energy level and one wouldn't be surprised if he just burst into flames!! This performance never gets old. There are several more live performances available on video. He dropped the speaking part by 1972 (the speaking part just worked better in his Vegas rather than on the road and his tour concerts were just much faster paced) and toned down the movements quite a bit by 74-76, but it was always a highlight! The note he reads was a little cheat note he had tucked away to help him remember the third verse. He does it so nonchalantly and just oozes cool even it that moment. Elvis' drummer Ronnie Tutt was famously quoted once saying playing for Elvis “was like playing for a glorified stripper; with all the moves he made, you had to play according to what he was doing.” Loved your insight, reaction and as A huge Elvis fan that has seen this performance too many times to count, it's always a joy watching someone discover Elvis in a way that they hadn't previously known him.
To me this was probably one of his most favorite songs to do on live you can just feel him getting ready to explode this is why he was the king of rock and roll you know what I mean I think you do LOL
Hello again Dina , in 1972 Elvis pulled my daughter Cori on stage and gave her a kiss ! I was center stage with my wife and 2 daughters !! And she was 9 years old !!
My dad and uncle are both really huge Elvis fans, if you watch my first reaction video to Lawdy Miss Clawdy, I explain this in a little more detail. If you watch my Love Me Tender reaction, you will actually see some footage of me singing Elvis at 3 years old!
@@DaniAtkinson so glad to see one so young enjoy watching & listening to Elvis & seeing you have the same reaction I had when I was young! Actually, to be honest, I still have thg same reaction today! Everything he does ,he does from his very soul! He keeps us all young! You ought to listen to some of his gospel music ! I listen every morning ! It is very healing & is a great way to start the day ! Originally, he wanted to be a gospel singer, but he was so humble, he did not think that he was good enough! His gospel albums won platinum status! There is no.one like him! Thanks for sharing ! I.love your. honest & sensitive reaction! So glad you love Elvis, as we all.do!!
I am glad you know not only what a great performer but he was a great human being! He loved his fans and he so appreciated the fact that we loved him He gave his all in every performance. There will never be another Elvis! God bless you, Dani.
One of my favourite performances by Elvis his dancing singing was so perfect loved it of course he was at one of the best time times in his career stay safe 😷✌
Oooohh he is just incredible isn’t he... like all the other fans on here I’ve seen this sooo many times but you can never grow tired of it. He possessed some very special super human qualities! Thanks D ✌️❤️
Hi Dani, like all your Elvis reactions! I am pleased to see and hear that more and more younger people like you discovered Elvis! Elvis is the greatest phenomenon in music history, not only that he changed the face of modern pop music basicly, he also mediated and connected between black and white in the 50's! Only two examples of Elvis influence and impact, which is the greatest. Now we have 4 generations of Elvis fans! Incredible wonder, but yet no wonder, because of his voice, charisma, supertalent, passion, power, heart and soul, generosity, good look charme... Go on, Dani and stay healthy!
I come back to this one every now and then. It's quite amusing watching Dani move to Elvis gyrating to the song. I think she would've lost it had she been there and got kissed by Elvis. Probably might've fainted. Been awestruck. Cuz he was do very exciting.
Hello from England ELVIS died 2 days before my 12th birthday. I have been a FAN ever since. Where have those 44 years gone. He was AND STILL is MY HERO. I know its a strong word but its TRUE All the songs Elvis sang are my FAVOURITES but this one is "up there" What was it about ELVIS and everyone has their onw TAKE on why but here is my own take: ELVIS WAS DIFFERENT. As a kid he had his own "STYLE" and the clothes he wore were just different. He was bullied at school because of this. The other kids were just so JEALOUS really ELVIS HAD THE VOICE like NO OTHER ELVIS HAD THAT STAGE PRESENCE ELVIS HAD AN "AURA" ABOUT HIM ELVIS HAD THAT CHARISMA ELVIS HAD THAT SWAG EVERY TIME HE WALKED ON TO ANY STAGE EVEN WHEN HE MOVED HIS LEG/S ORE HIPS a LITTLE THE WOMEN SCREAMED HE HAD THAT WIGGLE AND THAT JIGGLE THE ENTERTAINMENT VALUE WAS OFF THE RICHTER SCALE I pity those people in the audience that had to go to the bathroom Watching lots of videos and reactions and there are many to get through i have learnt a lot Did you know that Colonel Tom Parker was born 26TH JUNE Elvis's father Vernon died 26TH JUNE Elvis performed his last concert in Indianapolis 26TH JUNE How weird is that?
Dani I’ve seen this soooo many times. In fact I own TTWII dvd! I also saw him perform 3 months later in San Diego Nov. 15 at the Sports Arena 🙏 this is absolutely one of his best performances and that’s saying a lot considering his repertoire his entire life!!! Love you reaction as well hun..he was so mesmerizing and truly there are not enough words to describe this amazing, beautiful and incredible human being..I’ll love him forever because of how incredibly special he was..thank you!!!! 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Dani Atkinson He did Dani and afterwards he laid on his back on stage exhausted saying: “Let me rest my bod for a minute.”! The audience went crazy! Never will forget it!!! I still have my ticket stub and it blows my mind to this day!
Agree.....he was having a great time in 1970 , confident , loose, and just happy to be live again . Keep the Elvis reactions coming . What now my love , you gave me a mountain , never been to Spain to name a few and although it’s tough to see him in ‘77 there are the highlights of him performing hurt , how great this art and trying to get to you . My way in 77 is a great performance but you can see on his face he had given up. Enjoy your reactions and comments to the greatest entertainer there ever was or will be
That Polk Salad Dani comment was hilarious. I remember my friend thought the song was actually called Polk Salad Danny when I first showed him it. Was surprised to know Elvis actually did sing a song called 'Danny' too back in the late 50's when he played Danny Fisher in King Creole but it sadly wasn't in the film release but worth a listen regardless. Really enjoying your channel Dani, keep up the great reaction videos.
The thing I really admired and loved about Elvis according to his road manager Joe Esposito is that when Elvis on his 1st opening night was absolutely nervous of being his best to the audience. He wasn't arrogant or cocky. He always remained humble. But like Esposito said once Elvis stepped into the stage he was able to let loose and be the greatest entertainer he had always been. It was Elvis's moment of Triumph. Sold out performances. Elvis was back and better than ever. We don't have that today. That's why I go to RU-vid. Nothing personal on today's generation. I just love the oldies and always will.
Who would've thought that back in the mid 50's a young man,who was a truck driver at the time, would walk into a recording studio (Sun Records) just to make a song for his Mom and wind up being the world's greatest entertainer that ever lived. That all these years after his untimely passing, we still love to enjoy. . Thank you Elvis for singing, entertaining for us. RIP King.
