Amazing! Brilliannt! What talent - love these ladies - such talent. Very well done. Thank you so very much for posting and sharing. This is very beautiful.
I only know of one other band which was a polish polka band, it's the Happy Louie polka band whixh who had such a harmony between clarinet and trumpet, if I didn't know better and someone played their part without telling me I'd swear on a stack of bibles it was Louie and his clarinet player Joey, if you look up his videos you'd hear for yourself, perfect intonation on the clarinet.
Dedkova ura - grandfather's clock (ura is a cognate to German Uhr). I fell in love with this song, and revisit the site often. Slovenian (Oberkrain) music is indeed similar to, but still distinguishable from the music of Austria and Bavaria. And indeed, a number of the most popular tunes played at "Oktoberfest" and similar "German" events are actually of Oberkrain/Slovenian origin - Trompetenecho (Na Golici), for example. My heritage is German, etc - but I'm infatuated with Slovenian "folk" music of this style. The spoken language is also very pretty, in my view - possibly the most "natural" sounding of the entire Slavic family. I wish I knew it. I can only pick out a few words in the lyrics - would love to get the entire text. Incidentally, not to be confused with Slovak, which has a distinctively different cultural basis, despite similar names.
@valdo43 zajebiste to nie inteligiente slowo. poprawnie to sliczna ,piekna muzika or very nice beatiful music and ladies. Ladies continue more beatiful music.
Sure thing. GRANDFATHER'S CLOCK On the little bench, next to the furnace, sits and shares wisdom our grandfather. Beautiful clock on the wall always shortens his time. He observes it loyally when he sits there. In a nice room, it shortens his long days. Inside the clock, the friendly cuckoo sings. It thinks of our grandfather every hour. Happily, it says hello in his little room. It makes him happy, so he smiles all the time. OUR GRANDPA NEVER FORGETS ABOUT THE CLOCK HE WOUNDS IT EVERY EVENING SO IT ALWAYS SHOWS THE CORRECT TIME AND WHEN HE WAKES UP EARLY IN THE MORNING THE PRETTY VOICE FROM THE CLOCK ALWAYS CHEERS HIM UP AND WHEN OUR GRANDFATHER WAKES UP THE NICE VOICE FROM THE CLOCK ALWAYS CHEERS HIM UP Hope this helps ;) Kind regards, Eva S.
