I think no party is perfect there are lot of problems in bjp but most indians know back in their mind that bjp is the best among all existing options. Another fact is that ofcourse many bjp supporters also disagree with many decisions but we know what our priorities are and happiness with the fulfillment of big promises overshadow comparatively smaller topics and yes we sometimes intentionally neglect their mistake because we know and opposition time to time proves that if anything happens in any part of india against hindus, only bjp stands against it and opposition either stays silent or defends/protects other side. @@suparnamaity284 Temples are tax free. Private temples are externally audited. Big Temples that arent managed or maintained by a trust but the govt instead are taxed. But i do agree with you certain historically significant churches could be brought under taxation laws just like temples. But such numbers are very less.

The income tax will be waived off, with the confidence that the money will be reinvested by income generators directly into the indian society, like buying property, cars, share market, funds etc. what is happening now is "excessive borrowing" by states, due to limited local micro investments. If income tax is abolished, the circulating money will provide an impetus to both state and national economy directly, eliminating the middleman which is the government itself in this case. Government doesn't want the headache of repeatedly providing guarantees to indian businessmen. Plus it will also be a highly populist move. This doesn't mean that government will lose money, the government will recover all of the income tax through other taxes. This abolishment of income tax was suggested long time back by subramanium swamy, and this is actually overdue.

Sadly, to compete with china over the next 30 years, India cannot afford to slowdown its population growth. @@mountolympus1098 in my opinion, caste will not be abolished, since that would mean the end of BJP rule. Caste has become the main identity of most indians, BJP is not stupid to stick its hand in the hornet's nest. What it will do is, conduct an economic survey, and apply all the caste based implementations on an "economic background" consideration, effectively diluting the caste identity to a mere symbolic one. They can achieve it of they stay in power for another 20 years. Of congress comes back, caste system will become a centerpiece of indian politics.
