The human inner conscience it's a very complex thing. We have "primal images" (as Jung said) inside us that cannot be expressed with ordinary language. So art exists to express our inner world. Art it's not made to everyone understand because it's just simply impossible (like we do not have a universal language), then every artist try to express his "primal images" expecting some people will understand it. Pollock speak directly to me with his dripping art, reminds my extroverted intuition.

You can notice the forms that represent the complex structure of the universe combined with the emptiness of the human existence, the decadence of western society, the issues of religious morals, the struggle of human kind against dictatorship, and the ninja turtles' hunger for pizza
I love his tequniqe. The one where her drags the paint algond while letting it drip from the brush. I also appreiciate how he uses the different colors to move your eyes along the painting.
I was born on the same day as Pollock and when I got tired of painting the wall of my room, I used to do the same thing... Sorry, not funny joke. Actually, I really love his flaming works.

Most of this vid is taken from the movie 'Pollock', and is not the real Pollock but actor Ed Harris. Possibly from 3:05 is the real Pollock. Anyway, it's a great artist, always good to see some images of it!
Just recently was discovered that the Pollock's paintings follow the pattern of fractals, just like the nature. Maybe specially to you, the "language" Pollock used it's not the same you understands but, granted, there's a lot of art in the world.

Art has been dead many years ago. Only it’s skeleton remains, amped by great music on videos. The artist carcass is six feet under his/her remains are in the living rooms only as conversation pieces. The rich are collectors of trash, sold as great shit to make more money. It is not art.

I can appreciate real art and this isn't it. Explain to me how throwing paint randomly on a piece of canvas becomes art. Whats artistic about this is that at some point he managed to hide his lack of skill by creating this crap and made people buy it. He should become a tv salesman at most, because if you can sell this with dry eyes, you can sell anything.

You're wrong... anyone can do an action painting..but no one can do it like Jackson did. His work has been examined by everyone from Art historians to mathematicians. It took him years to gain the control he had. He didn't just "throw paint on a canvas" no he painted in the air and let the paint fall naturally. Theres many articles discussing his technique it's quite fascinating.
@@AnthonyBottari I want to see these 'articles'. But anyway I hate to break it to you but all 'modern' art is a scam designed to avoid taxes. It would be bad if these artworks were actually good because those people needing to dodge taxes don't want to get attached to actual good art like legacy pieces do. If you want real talent, go to deviantart or artstation or anything else where you can feel the hours put into a piece by the artist, rather than the artist demand the audience put hours into a piece 'studying' it.
