A short but detailed video showing how to change the engine oil filter on the 1.6 TDI engine of the Polo.
Parts used*:
Oil Filter - 03L115562
*OE part number indicated. Equivalent aftermarket part may be used after checking compatibility.

Sorry bro, Indian Polo variants never came with rear brake pads. 😂 You will have to check an alternate video.

Thanks for sharing this video. Priming the O rings are okay but may I know why do we need to prime the filter?

If you insert the new filter without priming it, the engine oil will take that extra bit of time to percolate through the filter element as the oil circulates. A primed filter on the other hand is ready as the element has already soaked in oil.
