With that money you can buy a The previous Audi A3 demo model, I think this Polo R line is too expensive In my point of view, I agree with the polo life advice
The key is for the front doors incase the key fob battery dies, I’m not sure about the current Polos but on the previous ones the place to insert a key is hidden for aesthetics… the icon on the steering is not for show either, when the key fob battery is low on juice you can place the key on that icon and push the start button to start the car.
Happy with the Polo Life. The pre face-lift R line still looks better because this isn't different from the Polo Life. Couldn't vw do things differently with this face-lift R line and give us a 1.5 litre engen and real exhausts with a more power? So you basically pay 100k more than the Polo Life for just looks and vibes? It's unnecessary for me. You can't pay 500k for a 1 litre engine.
seeing your videos for the first time now.. I love how you explain the ins and outs of the car 💯 keep up with the AweSome vids. will definitely watch your videos in the future
Bona ha ke so fetse ke video and already ke tletse.😄...this is something fresh man, a fresh perspective from a well composed lady, and I am impressed with your IQ on cars actually. Good energy, good articulation and well put together. m loving it. big ups!!👍
I think the R line gets a full digital cluster and touch controls for the aircon as standard like the GTI as opposed to the entry level digital cluster on the Life.
Thanks for the review. I’ve also looked at this model as I wanna trade in my 2020 Kia Rio, I don’t think this one is worth it as well. The Life Dsg speaks to me, but the Taigo has become another option, though leyona goes north of R500k after spec…
The 85kw power on the current facelift has nothing to do with transmission. The pre facelift had a 6 speed manual 85kw option in the form of a Polo Highline which was later discontinued before this generation. Bye the way this R-line would have been more appealing if they gave it the 1.5Tsi 110kw engine.
It has everything to do with the transmission, if you get a manual you get 70kw if you get a DSG you get 85kw. Unlike the pre-facelift where you had an option between a highline and a comfortline regardless of the transmission.
For the fact that I wanted to listen to the news when you showed that the steering wheel buttons are not operating when the car is off, proved that I'm not a target market indeed...I'll just get myself something suitable for old folks🤣🤣🤣...Anyway a nice review indeed...
The power is more cause the engine tune and that the RLine is a Highline replacement, which the Highline has always had more power than lower speced ranges. Sadly though on this model the 0-100kmh is maintained throughout the ranges 🤦🏾♂️ previously the Highline was faster by ~2sec compared with Comfortline and Trendline
Hi Reba, I just got the Life DSG...to me it didn't make sense to get the Rline just for a body kit. The Rline and the Life DSG have the same power, optional extras, literally everything...except body kit. By the way, I'm enjoying the Life DSG
Mostly the body kit but the R line also comes with fully touch climate control aircon, slightly better seats and ambient lighting on the dash...still don't think it's worth the extra money over a polo life
Not a honey comb grill. No R for Polo. Normal key is functional on keyless entry cars for manual entry in the event on electronic failure. Love the vernac in the review though....relatable
