Honestly same! Before my mom didn't like it but now she likes Jay Park and BTS lol. Also props to Royal Family too for working with CL and Big Bang, made me so happy.

My mom was the same too tbh but once she heard Jay Park sing in English, she listens to him non-stop. It's funny tho seeing her now, it also still weirds me out sometimes. But then again she's likes it more now because she loves Korean dramas.

She's only likes him because he can sing and he's hot lol XD but honestly I didn't know my whole family loved kdramas. My mom, grandma, and aunties literally watch it all the time. But it's rare to see polys like Kpop (for me at least) and I always get teased about loving the genre.

Jay grew up in Seattle I think. But he spends his time between LA and Seoul I think. I'm not sure but he's a busy man. Solo career, owner of 2 labels and he is possiblity the sexiest korean man alive...
