This is a great presentation. It's an excellent video about an amazing synth. This opens a new world of expression for those like me who have no musical training or the knowledge to program synthesizers. Designing sounds using this new keyboard is very time-effective. I mainly use synths and VSTs for film scoring and see utility in having a PB12 in my arsenal.

1:20:51 I'm joining those who asked about having these awesome keys in Arturia's MIDI controllers. E.g. I'd love to have a KeyStep 37 with MPE and these full-touch keys with the channel pressure + MIDI CC 74. It would make it really easy to use VSTs like Arturia's own CS-80 V or even FLOSS projects like Surge XT to their full potential.

Well TBF, a key step with polyAT seems like it would probably be fairly tough to make. So far I've really only seen larger keybeds with poly AT that are piano style, so there's probably some hardware limitations there. Still, I do very much hope we might see the next labs have similar poly AT tech.

@@radiofloyd2359 Either a hardware problem or a demand vs. manufacturing costs problem. But he said we should keep asking for it, so maybe one day someone figures out a way to make it happen.

@@dankeplace I hadnt. Seems like it's possible, though I still have to wonder what polyAT circuitry implies for size restrictions on a keyboard (not the keybed itself, but rather the key handling).

Cool synth but i feel like so many synths lately are sounding more for ambient music. Not feeling the color either. I don’t make that kind of music but I really enjoy Arturia and have all their plugins.

Synths like this can do any sort of sound you want them to. EDM sounds are really not that different from Ambient sounds, you just need to know how to modify them to make them work how you want them to.

I hope that comes sooner than later... A lot of us are really shook out here over the nicotine beige who would already have pre orders in if it weren't for the color.
