Polyend Tracker Time Stretching (My First Attempt)
Today I wanted to check out the Polyend Tracker's time stretching sample edit feature! Now before we get any further, let me just say that this was basically my first time ever using a time stretch feature on any device at all, so the end result isn't amazing. However, the beat I wound up with is actually a lot better than I thought it would be. Time stretching, slicing, and then randomly assigning slices to steps is a great way to come up with new rhythms, and I really feel like I made some serious progress here! Enjoy the video :)
