I hope you found this helpful! My overly dry hands are even more dry than usual here, I know. I helped my husband build a deck all last week, and they're wrecked. As always, everything I used in today's video is linked in the description, and you can check out more of my nail faves at: www.amazon.com/shop/novaknowsbeauty PS: Sorry about the quality on the close ups, I'll work on it 😁 Oh annnd I *had* footage swatching the polygels in this kit, and I accidentally deleted it along with some clips that needed re-done. I'll try & find it and add to my next video. 2020 is still trying it.
I’d LOVE to see a video of poly gel with tips. I’m not really good at the forms yet. And definitely YESSSS on the video about pinching w polygel! TYSM for all your videos they are so helpful ❤ your nails always look amazing 😊
I'm so grateful I found your channel. I was so overwhelmed! I've ordered 2 different kits. 1 dip and gel. I'm them sending back and ordering a polygel kit. I'll use your link. I l9ve long nails on others. But starting out. So I just want healthy, even all one length short nails. For now ... Please do a short nail tutorial on polygel for short nails. That would be awesome! You are a natural teacher btw~ 🖤🖤🖤
I’m no longer on any social media. I deleted my pages. I only have my blog now. It was becoming too much for me mentally and I just needed to get off definitely miss the supportive friends like you !! Maybe next year I’ll make a new page and start my makeup again and reviews but for now I’m off.
@@mari718 I hear you 100000% That's exactly why I stepped back from IG and have been doing these vids... it's something I truly enjoy without the pressure. I'll get back to it, but I have been considering just doing nails. 🤷🏼♀️
I love your videos and you look like your having fun doing it !! Definitely a better community I see then Ig is or was. I miss posting my pictures but I see myself doing my blog more often and maybe my own YT page in the future. For now you can reach me via email @mlopez0758@yahoo.com or on here 😉
I would love a video on how to pinch polygel! I know it's possible but I never seem to get it right 😅 I try to flash cure but then the gel still is too uncured, and if I cure more it's like it's too late to pinch 😬😂
Yeah it can be tricky... depends on the poly brand, its consistency & if it's more gel heavy or more acrylic powder heavy, lamp wattage, etc. Honestly, that's the only reason I haven't made a video on it yet, because there's not really a 1 size fits all method for what everyone uses. BUT I think I've rounded up a few things/tips that would be useful, so I'm definitely gonna make it soon 💜
I can't agree more about the importance of a good lamp. There have been so many times that my nails seemed completely cured, but they weren't underneath against the natural nail.
Girl I hear ya! These usually have to come right off, otherwise I'll end up having a painful accident. 😣😂 I'm totally down to do that and would love to hear any design ideas (or whatnot) that you'd like to see! 💜
When I first started, I'd work on them almost all day long and then again the next day (and sometimes even a third day). After awhile, you'll get to where you can get them done in one fairly quick sitting. 😁
I like to sculpt because it gives you total control over the thickness, shape, curve, etc. I've also found that dual form nails don't seem to last as long as sculpting. I think people tend to use dual forms because it seems easier, but they have some downfalls... I definitely think sculpting is the way to go! 😁
