Today I am going to show you guys how I like to combine my glow in the dark powder pigment with polymer clay. It's easy and opens up a world of possibilities.

This is the method I have found to be the most consistent with good results. You can still get decent results if you skip the translucent liquid sculpey, but my experiments have convinced me to always use the TLS. Try different things and see what works for you! Happy creating y'all!

How fortunate that I recieved a set of 12 glow-powders yesterday and see this today! (Sorry, I was too tired to check all my notifications earlier) I have tried with just the powder in clay before and couldn't get it even. I hope Fimo liquid works as well, I'll know when I have time to sit down and try...

Wow, what a coincidence! I’m sure the Fimo liquid will work just fine. The most important thing is that the clay is translucent. The more opaque clay is used, the less intense the glow. Good luck and have fun!

Great video. I really want to try this. I love the neon sign you did as an example, and I think it would be fun to make some replicas of vintage neon signs this way. For some reason the original MTV logo comes to mind.

That is a really cool idea! I must try that. I love this channel so much! Why did the purple ball in your hand after you had added the mixture and rolled it, make me think of Maltesers?Funny!

Question. How would a colored liquid sculpy work? Would the pigment nlock yhe glow?

Hi! Is the UV light really needed? Is it possible to glow without that? I have no idea how glow in the dark works. I have a shirt that glows in the dark well just by exposing it to sunlight or room light, is it possible for clay? Pls help 🥺

The UV light is absolutely NOT needed! Regular sunlight would be just fine. I notice that sometimes colors vary depending on which light is used. I think sunlight does give it a longer lasting glow.
