thats awesome I get those type patterns too when my old clays and I love how it looks so mow I make sure to plan my colors together with old and new and get some amazing results but yeah doesn't always work but when it does it is beautiful
So glad I came across your tutorials, so original & I'm learning a heck of a lot, thank you! While watching this I dug out the thick mirror effect leaves I bought years ago by mistake thinking they were silver leaf and will try your alcohol ink veneer straight away. Your two-way bargello - amazing, so subtle & well worth the effort. Will laminate some graph paper to help position the strips. Have you ever tried baking clay veneers onto papier mache forms? Would seriously appreciate some tips on that - anyone? :)
I do this often. I get my papier mache from hobbylobby. I got a moose and used a Christmas plaid and an elephant I have used several techniques on them. No problems yet.
Thank you Joyce, I'll definitely have a go. I was worried the papier mache would collapse but I have a chameleon & a giraffe from Hobbycraft (UK version of Hobby Lobby I think!) in my hoard & will try covering them with the veneers I made from Katie's tutorial ... which came out really well.
I dont usually apply veneers to thing just because that is not the type of work I do but I did use the metalic one in a video literally right after I released this video

Just wondering if you have ever done this with old canes sliced and stacked like this. I might try it sometime, can’t hurt. I really like this, and doing it with black, gray & white is not like all the others. Thanks for sharing your video with us.

Recovering from an injury, I spent three months in a recliner watching videos om clay, then I just found this video and there was more content, teaching and great info than most. Do appreciate what you do.

Still learning and u guys see my mistakes and all and how I work through an issue people say it helps them to learn to work through a project with out giving up
Vermont is a cold ass state. The basement I work in is in the hottest days of the summer 60 degreese but spring winter fall it can be and generally is in the low 50s so when I get home no matter if I'm wearing a nice dress. Jean's and a t. Pjs whatever my bathrobe goes on when I go down to gets chilly
You could put rubber stops on the bottom of your white tile to keep it from sliding. I use the little ones that you find on cabinet doors. I would put 3 on each side and a couple in the middle.
I always loved the thin lines in a coloring book. I always loved to outline the line myself. Still coloring and still do the same thing. I think it is fascinating how we are all different but that is what makes life interesting. Loved how this turned out.
Have you, or any pmc artist that you know of, ever used the air blowers sold for the purpose of cleaning dust from computer keyboards for spreading alcohol inks?

Def start from the beginning polymer clay cane 1 polymer clay pendant 1 I give alot of tips I forget to repeat pr just get sick of saying over and over I was new about a year ago so we are all growing together and u can see it in my progress
