This video discusses why polymers show viscoelastic behavior? Different mechanical models are also discussed to explain viscoelasticity. For queries contact us at chemscholar18@gmail.com Reference Books: amzn.to/41Tg1Lm amzn.to/441izZU
I remember having an introductory lesson about this during our lesson in Pavement Design (I am a Civil Engineering graduate). At that time I was trying to relate it to our past Differential Equations subject of mass-spring-dashpot mechanical systems, but it seems like the concept was different. It was hard for me to formulate a mneumonics at that time. Thank you for a wonderful video about this topic.
Very clear explanation in 10 min! The origin of the viscoelasticity and the characteristics of the three models are well explained and illustrated. I learn a lot! Thank you so much!
thank you for this amazing presentation. iw anna assk you about modeling some polymers like shape memory polymers , in order to predict the shape memory under some loading !!
thank you for this amazing video. Is it possible to find the mass law of motion for a generalized KV or Max model, like a spring-damper system with an external force?
it's very nice video I'm kinda curious in the standard linear visco elastic if the spring & were placed (if spring is below & dash on up) would that wouldn't change differential equation ?
