Tim is so technical and it's crazy but Steve can make a guitar sing and you can't ever get away from the fact that 40 years of loving your instrument teaches something that you can't describe and can only appreciate it.

I like how much Steve's parts here actually reflect the title and theme of the song. Instead of doing his usual acrobatic wankery (in a good way), he lets the youngins do all the super technical stuff, and his solos are obviously not about trying to impress anyone but rather soulful singing parts meant to communicate transcendental emotional states or something along those lines instead.

Kinda wimpy in my opinion. If you're going to use real drums and then process them to sound like a beat box, then just use a beat box. I get that they're trying to be different with the drum sound and they're trying to break new ground but personally, I'm just not feeling it. That's one cryptic line Steve plays as an intro. The solo has a story structure to it, exceptional.

I think, i will never say "this is the best song i ever heard" because i will be lying to myself... but, i can say without doubts that some songs are unforgettable... in such level, that bring us to a kind of feeling that make us feel like: if for some reason i would be tracked into a song forever... this would be the song.

One minute these guys are pushing the hyper-pop boundaries for the zoomer generation with ABC, now they're paying tribute to the greats with a triumphant guitar anthem on a rooftop with Steve Vai fronting the band like he's been there the whole time. Love Polyphia.

Man, you gotta give props to Steve Vai (as usual). He could've done his usual batsh*t-insane playing with lots of tapping, legatos and whammy bar shenanigans, but instead, he actually adapted to Polyphia's sound and became one with their song. He once again proves that he is a true artist who can go with the flow. He IS a legend and has forever left his mark on the art of guitar.

Wow! First time hearing these guys after catching Tim on Rick Beato's podcast. Just realized that ya have to listen to them with headphones on or have a sick system. At first listening on youtube over my flat screen it sounded really muddy and you could barely hear any of the drum work save the kick. Much better now. That's some sick high hat work. Man I'm feeling old seeing Vai next to these young men and then seeing the thumbnail for Vai and Machio in Crossroads. 80's was my coming of age for music. I'll definitely be keeping up with Polyphia.
