In many Zoroastrian-majority villages of Iran, including those in Roodbar, Qazvin, Gilan, Kurdistan, Kermanshah, and Isfahan, people celebrate the arrival of autumn and its mythical fruit with festivities such as the pomegranate harvest celebration. The ceremony will be held alongside the twin cedar trees of the village.
Another goal of the celebration is to bring people together and keep them away from their daily worries. These festivals include sections such as handicrafts, local achievements, traditional foods, singing indigenous songs, and local sporting events.
The festival is based on the presentation and sale of pomegranate products such as pomegranate juice, pomegranate paste, pomegranate cake, and other products.#Iran #yazd
