Jax, Pomni, and Ragatha set out for a fishing trip at the digital lake, hoping for a catch of fish. To their surprise, their hooks reel in an abundance of candy instead. Little do they know, on the opposite shore lies the Chocolate Kingdom of Candy Canyon. What unfolds when the princess discovers her precious candies are mysteriously disappearing?

Six troubled human souls, including the timid newcomer and series protagonist Pomni; the trouble-making rascal Jax; the cheerful optimist Ragatha; the emotionally fragile Gangle; the moody perfectionist Zooble; and the paranoid veteran Kinger, find themselves trapped in the Amazing Digital Circus. This virtual reality game is run by a quirky but oblivious artificial intelligence named Caine and his enthusiastic assistant Bubble. Sent on relentless and sometimes traumatic adventures, Pomni and the others strive to maintain their sanity and uncover a path back to the real world.
