I am over here literally drooling while I scramble to get to work...OMG that blue tegu is so gorgeous. That purple sunfire is also top shelf. I only just got my blue eyed lucy and I'm already plotting and scheming my next baby addition! Wish I'd gotten to tag along to this super show! Awwwww, that little beardie! So precious! Baby overload!

What a rad tegu! I didn't know they became more carnivorous as adults. Clint's Reptiles got me into tegu, and I held my first one at the first reptile show I went to in spring! Tegu do honestly sound like better pets than monitors if you want a large lizard. I still have much love for my savannah monitor though :)

Galapagos? 😍 WOW Dav, that is going to be one epic trip, that place fascinates me; it's like going back in time! I had no idea there were 15 different species of galapagos tortoise! They should call that little one Beagle! ⛵You do lead the most inspirational and awesome life doing what you love - always so happy to see you travelling the world like one of the early explorers. Can't wait for those videos! 🤗👍🍿PS watch out though for those seawater snorting dimetrodons - erm I mean iguanas hehehe! 😉

Hey dāv, i love your videos and have so much respect for you. Ive been seeing so many big lizards and snakes in my area for sale because irresponsible owners bought them. I think you should make a video going around and interviewing and showing off some of the rougher and realistic aspects of keeping these big lizards. Not to give them a bad rep. But just so new people to the hobby get the hard facts about what its really like to keep these species. I just feel that like green iguanas people see a few friendly ones and think they are all like that

@ this is why i love you and Tom Crutchfield so much 😁 also your in the wild video with the crested geckos was such an inspiration to me years ago. After watching it i modified my basic crested gecko care alot to mimic their natural conditions much more and tge difference is amazing. My crested geckos body mass changed from being pretty chunky to more like that of the wild ones, and theyre much more active amd show off alot more unique behavior and such. You got a life time fan here

Hi I have a red tail boa she burys herself in the substrate. I need to know what to do to change this behavior she has a big tank perfect temp and humidity idk what to she says buried until I move her I wanna kno if this is normal or what can I do to change it ??

Although small I would love to meet you at New England’s reptile expo! There’s one quarterly every year and the one coming up is October 6th takes place in Manchester New Hampshire, the place gets pretty packed but I’m showing up looking for a new Bearded Dragon can’t wait! I was happy to see the video as I was unable to attend the show this time due to a broken leg. My vote for best snakes in the video were the Bull (Gopher) Snakes and for best lizards the Green Monitors. I prefer natural patterns that nature has produced over the morphs and albinos. I would rather see a wide range of species versus the endless variety of Ball Python morphs. Any chance you could share the name of the vendors of the Bull Snakes at 12:50 and 13:20 in the video?

So I have a question, just wondering with all the expos you have been to what do u do if u see a booth with sick/stressed animals?. I have never been to any yet. I have been sorting out my life and debts, so once that's done hopefully debt free by Christmas as me and my fella can't have kids I want to travel and visit as many expos and zoos around the world but the thought of seeing animals sick and not knowing what to do scares me haha x

The only things i hate about florida besides the heat is tegus are now illegal.. And roaches for feeders are all illegal.. So no dubias. Hissing roaches. Ect..

Dāv Kaufman's Reptile Adventures New Zealand! I believe it is because a lot of our native animals and birds (such as the kiwi as they are flightless) would be in danger if snakes were introduced
