Pond Armageddon: What Happens When You Ignore Your Pond Plants 

This video is about how to avoid your pond plants from taking over your pond and becoming completely unmanageable.
Pond plants are like weeds, they are very invasive and left to their own devices they will quite happily consume your entire pond leaving little space for water and the aquatic residents.
It is extremely important to remove your plant each December, cut but root and overgrown and lop off the tops. Then replace your plants back into the pond so they will ready up for the spring.
