tbh, i think ttd wouldnt stand a chance :D Since Mikka and Otto are already on a really pro level, would be fun if theyd get handicaps or smth like that
@@erdbeereiz I think only tom would actually have a chance against mikka or Otto. But pongfinity are obviously the favorites. But also very entertaining
Mikka is always the best his service style is just awesome and when he do the chopping he looks so cool.Thank you pongfinity for making my holidays energetic.
Played around 5 years ago as penhold player against Elias in Düsseldorf at the andro kids open when he was 13-14 while I was 21 and he went through the set like a hot knife through butter. He played at this time either Switzerland 1st or 2nd league already. In fact he's a nice guy with surely alot of talent and probably alot of training sessions. Grüzi to Elias and all the best to you Pongfinity!
He played well in game 4 where he refused to give ground and persistently kept the attack initiative. In game five he went back to mucking around in the mid/back court, which is not a natural position for someone of his height. That's something maybe a Ionnis Sgouropoulis can get away with. The chop-blocks also aren't helping him at all. He needs to keep pounding away on both wings, to both wings, center, and gut-shots, until his opponent caves.
@@-danR that's not quite what happened, though you're right about him getting stuck defending. In game four, he was disciplined in keeping the ball low until his opponent gave him enough height to attack properly. In the games he lost, while he did sometimes fail to take initiative on the attack, the greater issue was that he attacked on balls that were not advantageous enough. Consequently, the ball he got back was aggressive and he had no time to recover. Forcing him to defend from the back court. Or he'd attack the ball that wasn't advantageous enough too hard and make the mistake.
Definitely feel that Miikka needs to work on his defence. He looks superb in attack, but if Elias got on the attack, Miikka struggled a lot more. Keep working hard Pongfinity!
Does anyone else feel the match like me? I don’t know, I become sad when he Pongfinity loses a point for no apparent reason, and celebrate in my mind whenever he gets a smash in! Support Y’all so much ❤
Elias looks like a very strong player. I was surprised to find he is only ranked 1584 in ITTF, while Miikka is ranked 656. I also noticed he found out quickly to attack Miikka's backhand.
Miikka is worried about match too much. I think he should relax and play more calm. But of course, this was a beautiful game. Thanks Pongfinity for making quality table tennis content)
Miikka I really like the way that you play. About this game , just wow I am so happy that you are here and it's fancy😍 When I see you I want to practice more table tennis🥺
Hello Miikka my name is Leon I am 9Years old your Trainer is Andy Schmidle in Switzerland i am also Training by Andy Schmidle. I hofe see your at Januar in Switzerland I wish your good Start in the New years
Which rubber is Miikka using on his forehand. I am just curious cause I am thinking about changing my forehand rubber to one from the asian market. Up until now I played a rasanter R50 and I think about to replace it with a hurricane neo. It somehow looked to me like he is playing an asian one and the way he plays his topspins would fit into my playstyle, I guess. I dont have the money to test everything so I would really appreciate an answer. Would help me a lot.
probably he is using Hurricane 3 Blue Sponge boosted. He already did he is using chinese rubber. If you wanna test some chinese rubber, go to DHS Hurricane 3 NEO 2.15mm 39 hardness. Or more cheap, Yinhe Big Dipper.
Nice match! It's sad, that Miikka didn't win, but it was very fun to watch. The last set was very unfortunate and trust me, I know how stressful it is. I was wondering, how do you put the score thing in the corner? I use davinci resolve and cannot find a way to put it in. I wish you all the best!
I’m neither a good player or a coach, but it’s really interesting that you try to rely that much on your backhand and touch game, but it’s your forehand topspin that is the most efficient 🧐 You won more than 3/4 points when you land a forehand topspin 😄 compared to your backhand that’s strange 👀
Hi Mikka. Did you play against Ben from TTC Rapid Lucerne? And what where your results? Or did you face other Rapid players like flurin perhaps? Im just generally interessted, because these folks are my former teammembers 😁
