Then suddenly you heard this song somewhere far way, then you slowly move toward the direction of the song. Then you realized that you're in front of someone's house and listened until the song ended. The conflict between the theme of the world and this song, the vibe you got from being alone in the depressing night. It's signify how rebellious this band is and it feels like the ray of hope for people in this world.
For anyone wondering. They stole the melody from Kerry, it's why he gets so shaken up by it. The version you hear Johnny playing is the original riff. In universe Uscracks not only steals melodies but pretends to be Japanese despite all being American, playing their audience for fiddles like alot of Kpop bands out there

They made a deal to remix another song, this one is theirs and Kerry (who himself is a corpo sellout) only dislikes it (while Johnny, the rockerboy, recognizes their potential). And after coming down and learning that the manager made the deal behind Kerry's back they stop their tour to get back at their and kerry's managers.

The song was sung by actual Japanese singers. It's also a plotpoint that they only pretend to be Japanese ingame, which is why they speak with an American accent.
I think they're Japanese-Americans in the lore. In Cyberpunk Japan has a much stronger cultural influence in America whereas it's the complete opposite in the real world, and you see Japanese artists constantly incorporate English voice lines and such in their works. Considering this it's actually genius level world building to have an American band try and come across as Japanese to pander to that market in CP2077.
Just hear me out, don't roast me before you read everything: This song is objectively shit but it's also catchy as what. That makes this song a masterpiece because it basically brings the world of Cyberpunk 2077 to a point. High tech, low life, it doesn't sound pleasing and its such a cluster fuck of genres but it sticks, which means you or better they can make heaps of money out of it. A low effort high reward track i game but i bet, the actual creator of this track is a genious that totally played trough music theory on hard, to make something that unpleasing, etch itself into our cerebral cortexes. Well done.

It may not have the level of interaction of rockstar style open worlds or the size of skyrim, but the way it takes inmersive sim level design to an open world is just fuckin impressive. The game feels more like a Vtm:Bloodlines - Deus Ex hybrid than anything else
