The "Pont de Normandie" is a cable-stayed road bridge that spans the river "Seine" linking Le Havre to Honfleur in Normandy, northern France. Its total length is 2,143.21 metres (7,032 ft) -- 856 metres (2,808 ft) between the two piers. Despite being a motorway toll bridge, there is a footpath as well as a narrow cycle lane in each direction allowing pedestrians and cyclists to cross the bridge free of charge.

Great to see this! We always arrived by ship at Honfleur so I didn't even know this existed. Honfleur is one of the most beautiful wee places I have ever visited. I did a review video of Honfleur, Cherbourg and St.Mary's, Isles of Scilly (UK) where the town can be seen.

Huskyherz Das ist ein großes Highlight während der langen Fahrt in das Finistère... Da freu ich mich immer ganz besonders drauf und fahre extra langsam, um es zu genießen... Wenn ich die Brücke schon von weitem sehe, gehts mir gleich besser...:))

Mad9977 Selbst wenn ich im Herbst ins südliche Finistère muss, fahre ich oben rum einen kleinen Umweg, um die Brücke zu genießen... Ein großes Highlight bei monotonen 1300 km...;)

It was about 30 years ago when I was a kid living in Canada, so my memory may not be very accurate. Your bridge is also somewhat like the Severn Bridges between England and Wales.

BadgerBotherer1 I might have been thinking of the Blue Water Bridge that crosses the St. Clair River between Ontario and Michigan, which doesn't look much like yours, but I remember it having a similarly-steep start and finish.

Ja die is hoog. In 2016 ben ik er over heen gereden. Heen en terug. Ik moest wel even slikken. Ik heb een vreselijke hoogtevrees. En het zijn 2 hoge bruggen achter elkaar.
