Probably because you like to be seen with the two best looking narrowboat ladies on the canals or maybe just so you can be seen on another vlog where someone else has to do all the work on it. I don't know maybe because it is fun. lol Ladies, great video as usual. CC did add a little class to this one. Not a whole lot but enough to make it better than normal. (cough cough)

I’d love going across that river bridge. Needed some canal time. My 2 year old daughter and I sat outside by the fire. Surrounded by 2 feet of snow. We had a banjo. Zella strummed as I did chords and sang. A good time but I’m ready for green and flowers.

I discovered you two through Cruising the Cut. I must say I am very jealous of David for getting to spend time with you. As to something you said Annamarie, I think you look gorgeous in every light. And as a painter/sculptor/photographer/videographer (although my degree is in design) discovering you are a painter takes you straight to the top of my favorite peoples list. Of course, as I am also Rromani, and have spent years living in caravans, there is also a natural affinity for those who live the mobile life whether that be land or water based. Cheers from the other side of the world. We say latcho drom which means safe roads, in your case it is a wish for safe waters.

I have always wished I could do what you are doing since the nineteen seventies as a high school student. but sadly I live in Oklahoma and no canals and never got to go to the UK.you videos are fun and often informative.I think the new paint work looks wonderful.hope you have many happy days on the canals and love the cats.

I thought Munchie would steal the show but that bloke who tagged along seemed to enjoy it and getting the instructions from a pair of experts..MMmmmmm I love the boats blue... the white lining just makes her sparkle... @@TheNarrowboatExperience Cats are very discerning, aren't they? My cat is very protective, he is a real asset afloat , so intelligent. Good at assessing dogs!. Must tell you this. I made a hole for a cat flap. He was so pleased . He popped in and out like a yoyo but showed his displeasure when I fitted the cat flap a day later and he refused to use it though it was exactly like the one at home. He eventually forgave me I'm pleased to say. o

😂 great video, loved the bit explaining about the centre line🤣 I’ve just come to Braunston to have a hull survey and do the blacking thing. Unfortunately I decided to do it on Easter weekend, was going to turn my boat around at the marina and reverse through the bottom lock so I could get into the dry dock nose first but chickened out as there were many many tourists watching😧 and I would have ended up ricocheting of most boats either side of the cut... thought I’d wait till after Easter to attempt the reversing stress attempt when no or fewer tourists are about😂 these are the problems of having a 70 foot boat and not been out boating for 3 years😂 This reversing in narrowboats is not for the faint of heart is it, why did I pick Braunston😩😂

Your new paint is sublime! Funny story and beautifully edited - you got me on one of those long-held views low along the side of the boat, looking down the path on the aqueduct, and then with perfect measure, the other side with the seemingly paper thin wall! Gasp!

My cat would not help with engine checks. She would notice something is wrong and exit the boat leaving us all to die. She might also find a way to knocked one of us off the boat going over that bridge. I may need to get another cat while I still can. Anyway lovely video and paint job.
